Hello, My Car: 06 Legacy 2.5 SOHC So I'm going to finally get my Timing Belt on. This is what I notice and I want to make sure it is all correct. 1. Crank Gear Alignment is correct : The Two marks Line Up 2. The Passenger Side is Lined up: There is NO Tension/Resistance to get the lines to line up. 3. The Driver Side is Lined Up: There IS TENSION/Resistance to get the line on the Cam Gear to line up with the line on the back cover (notch) Is that normal for the Driver side to be under tension? Sorry if this is a dumb or silly question... just want to make sure I am going this correct

Hey, is there any secret to installing the small rubber hose from the waterpump to the metal cooling line? It's very hard to get the rubber hose to slide on the metal line because the metal tube want to flex on the tabs that hold it to the block. Is there a Secret Lube to help it slide on? Trick? Thanks

Hello, I was wondering if there is a correct procedure or way to ensure both the Block and Head are correctly aligned to put on the timing belt. At this time the heads are on and not tension on any of the Valve Rockers. The pistons are all in the Neutral Position (all in as far as they will go) The crank gear is aligned with Crank sensor, so I am sure it is off some degree? Thanks for any help

Hello, I am going to install this cooler on my car. My question is this. Do the plastic fasteners work well? Ever come loose? Damage to either radiator or AC Condenser Coils in front of the Radiator? I want to do the same thing that this guy did. Thoughts? Transmission Oil Cooling.pdf

GD, I appreciate your opinion. But, I don't want to paint the backside, . I'm going to get it returned, because it also does not fit. I can't even begin to get it to slide on the crank even without the keyway removed.

Be VERY careful of aftermarket shops.... sooooo many don't know how to properly work on Subaru engines, and they use cheap aftermarket parts... so if you read my posts, I only had 99k on my one month old purchase of a 2007 Legacy 2.5i and the timing belt tensioner bolt broke due a idiot who either used a impact wrench, or?? Either way, 4 intake valves bent

The heads for my car got done today, so I have no time to spare dealing with a company that does not want to do the "Right" thing. It just frustrates me because of how unprofessional they are. They even said they would give me $50.00 off, so I know they don't want to deal with it and me, but also who ever they got it from. I think they bought it from somewhere (another company because it shipped from "Horsham, PA") , and now they are in a bind. They even told UPS that it was damaged in shipping, which is a FAT lie, and they are trying to rip them off. I hope they come to there senses and deal with this issue properly. If not, I will take legal action, because I have pictures, phone records and I witnesses that will become a nightmare for them. t will cost a LOT $$ more by then.

Hello, I'm going to use Fuji ThreeBond 1215 Gray Silicone Sealer: If you have ever used this sealer, I have a question. Oil Pan: 1. How wide of a "bead" to you run around the base of the Oil Pan? 2. Do/Did you run the bead "around" the mounting bolts, or just one side (inner or outer). 3. How did it hold up to leaks? Thanks
