  1. IMO they should sell you the whole car for that price. A friend of mine has one for sale. He wants $200.00 For the whole car. It has around 129K. Who's your mechanic. I have had nothing but good luck with the EA81T's. Yes they are finicky but they run out well.
  2. Good for you. Are they like the ones I have? If so, that isn't a bad price. Did you get 4 or 5 of them? BTW, contact Shawn or Mick and they can set you up on this sites picture gallery with your own acct and space. No cost.
  3. Sounds more like a temp sensor to me. It thinks it is already hot. That might explain why it runs so well after it's warmed up. Have you ran a code check yet? That would be the first place to start.
  4. Coming along nicely. What are your plans for the completed project?
  5. Jared, try changing out that hub as well. There has to be a reason that they aren't holding. Is the bolt that goes through the knuckle/hub threaded all the way? If not that could be the problem. Sounds like fun right up to that point. Ken
  6. When I surf for H&R springs I find that they do not offer for wagons. Do sedans work for the wagon or is it a totally different set up?
  7. Cool, see Caleb, I told you that you'd do OK down there if you gave it a shot.
  8. Very nice Clint! The question you posed about the gold valve assy is part of the ASV(air suction valve). It works with the EGR system. It sounds like you have a hole developing in the metal piping at the end of the rubber hose coming off of the valve towards the engine. Ken
  9. OK, I have been looking around and haven't found what I'm after. Here's what I want to do. I want to lower my '92 Legacy Turbo wagon approx 1 1/2" in the front and 1 1/8-1 1/4" in the rear. I am also looking at adding larger diameter bars and running 205/50R15 tires. I want a firm suspension that will still provide a comfortable ride. Basically, I want the cornering to improve. So the question is where do I find these parts and what is recommended? Strut tops? Springs/struts? Swaybars? The tires and wheels are already covered. Thanks, Ken
  10. First, safety is the biggest issue here not convenience. Rubber lines are for flex areas not to replace hard lines. Second, flaring is a must on brake lines to maintain a tight air free seal. This is definitely not the place to cut corners. Your life and the lives of everyone you will come into contact with on and off the road depend on it. Ideally, you want hard lines through the body and along the rear trailing arms. Anywhere there is a pivot point you use rubber brake lines. Not just any rubber line will work either. It needs to be rated for brake fluid and pressure.
  11. You will find that almost all Subaru speedos are off. I know several people who have installed 14" pugs and tires and found that their speedo was now accurate. I know of zero gears that are compatible with the Sube gearbox. The RPM's sound perfect. Redline is much higher(5,500)
  12. Actually you need an E10 socket I believe. I think Zap has one. You should get the deep one. Generally it is used for air bag repair and replacement. I got mine directly from Snap-on truck. You should be able to order on-line if you don't have access to a truck.
  13. I'm with Hogsubie. Either 4runner or Pathfinder.
  14. Excellent job Mick. Turned out just as planned. A little mud sure feels good doesn't it?
  15. Sounds more like a faulty vacuum advance. Probably have a weak or leaking diaphram.
  16. We still on? I'll be leaving early to make it up there by 10:00. E, call me by 8:00am if you want me to bring the special rear diff and axles
  17. They only have one filter. Second, the right hand pedal does indeed have a direct relationship with fuel economy, especially in a turbo. If you look closer at the fuel estimates in the brochure you will notice that a statement along the lines of estimated fuel milage. If your Turbo is stock then you have a couple things going against you. First, the auto is going to rob power and fuel mileage. Second, it's 4WD, another fuel robber. You may get better than you 19+ and you may get worse. These were never sold a gas misers.
  18. The only one that fit's your query and runs is Adams. Besides, I haven't seen one of them be able to follow me anyways. Is that enough of a poke to get it ready to trail test it Adam?
  19. I got a couple honey do's but I'll be there.
  20. Did you make it up to the top of upper 311? If so, what did you think? Which other trails did you do?
  21. Better late then never. Glad you came out of the flop OK.
