  1. This years rally will be in the Capitol forest. September 22-23, 2012. Unfortunately, the roads will be closed to spectating. You can, however, visit the Ridge Motorsports park and see the cars, drivers and teams all day Saturday. There will be a break between 1pm and 6pm due to fire danger. Hope to see you out there. www.olympusrally.com
  2. Most of them hated the new Impreza too... you know the new sales record Impreza...
  3. I have not driven one. But, everyone I know that has loves it. For all the reason that numbchux pointed out. Time to back off. Especially the ones who can't afford one and/or will not be buying new anyway.
  4. Flame thrower was not the problem. He asked for patience. He explained why. Yet you called him names and was very derogatory. Please refrain from doing such things again!

  5. I saw it. I drove it. It truly is rediculous!
  6. As I stated, I have not met him either. My comments reflected what others have said about him. I sympothize with the OP as being without a car is a large inconvenience. But, there is a fine line between complaining and slander. Even on the internet. I hope all things can be resolved in a professional manner.
  7. The ECU ground fault is for "safety". Just that pesky little thing that when you get in an accident the fuel shuts off. Nothing to be concerned about. And Rick, do you really need to bad mouth other people to get business? All your little jabs at people are getting old. One persons opinion does not a fact make. I know a few people who have used Jeff in the past. They have had great results and excellent work. I would guess, as I am not personally involved, the communication on all sides is poor. Just calling a spade a spade!
  8. That didn't look so bad from the outside. Sure felt bad on the inside of the truck. Pulled over to let the search and rescue guys from Piece county by and all hell broke loose. They were running into each other and me for that matter. With all their gear they get pretty wide.
  9. Why not? Someone who owns Toyota's comes here...
  10. Hey Shane, No, never painted it. I actually sold my Brats. Turbone bought my little Brat. I have an XT6, an Impreza and an Outback as this time. I still have some stuff. What are you looking for?

  11. The limiting factor of a Subaru is the axle. End of conversation. Using the radius rod to move the tire forward in the wheelwell will only damage the bushings. You have to move the entire front subframe forward. You can strengthen the radius rods but that will cause other things to get damaged instead of the rods. Keeping things predictable is easier to plan for. Sort fo like a fuse. When you know what will get damaged you can carry spares. When you change those fuses you never know what will get damaged.
  12. I reread this again. If the SS uses a pull type then it uses the same style as '02 and later hydraulic and the TS would be the same.
  13. Sure it will. it's just like lego's. You will need a couple of other parts though. The clutch master cylinder, the slave cylinder and hose. A hydraulic pedal assembly. You will need the matching rear diff as well. You may need to do some driveline work as well. But with a little work it will all bolt up. Now, don't the SS legos use a push type clutch and the later style use a pull type? Doesn't push/pull represent the action used to activate the T/O bearing?
  14. Nissan have a limited aftermarket support. Toyota, well, that goes without saying. Gearing is limited for Nissan. KA engine will not handle the abuse of off-roading. The 22r/e will practically run up-side down. Especially the injected version. And, did Nissan ever offer a US solid axle truck? IFS simply sucks off-road. Youcould do a SAS and make it better but you will have to modify many things to get where a stock Toyota will get you.
  15. Anything Tim Cameron drives is insane!
  16. This type of rig isn't used for "picking lines". They are used in rock racing. No such things as a good line when you are timed with big HP!
  17. Hmm, those don't usually go flat. May have gone away @ break-in. Which would explain the fact that it would never quiet down. I will repair/replace the cam for you though if you decide to redo it. Ken Delta Camshaft
  18. To get what the cam has to offer, yes, EM would be a good plan.
  19. Really... the confounder?!? What is a confounder? Anyone who has not lived under a rock for the last few years knows full well that Ken Block is the co-founder of DC shoes... You've been racing 12 yrs? That is nice, but I am not sure how that makes you an expert on Ken Block or his motivation or ability level.
  20. No, it doesn't. He was beaten by three drivers who cars didn't add up to the cost of the original purchase price of his. Good drivers in well set up cars is all you need. That being said though. He has come a long way over the years. He has become a very good driver by working at it by spending hours every day working on his driving. Money got him in the car. Hard work kept him there!
  21. Oh, yeah, that emoticon is very appropriate to that response... Have another one for me.
