When, exactly, did you become so whiney?

Hmm, ever see WRC? Enough said!

1993 subaru ss

My point was and will continue to be... tell the OP what he should look for when purchasing a car. Be it a Mazda or SS Legacy. You do not need to make assumptions about buyers/sellers character. You know neither of them and realistically can not make that assumption. -

A junker price and the price for a non-running 93 SS do not compare. Even if it doesn't run the parts list is worth far more than $500.00. The core engine alone is worth that! -

Giving opinions on what to look for on a car inspection is perfectly fine. But calling seller or buyer names in the process is not! -

You do know what it means to assume... right? -

Have any of you actually looked at this vehicle? -
Cool, I'll keep an eye out for them.

OK, tomorrow's the day. We'll see everyone on the hill. If a few of you would consider grabbing some firewood bundles at the Greenwater store on the way up that would be great. I find that I am running out of room in the Outback and the 'yota. If anyone wants to bring a pop-up too that would be cool as well. We will have one there along with a camp stove and two propane heaters. It is cold so dress warmly and bring extras in case you get wet. See ya tomorrow!!

Good advice!

Oh, forgot one thing. The above listed specs would be for an EA81 vehicle. The EA82 vehicle is simply tighten it where it lies!
-
Now, you read all of this right? No where does it say adjust anything but the clearance of the bushing to the bracket... using it to place the engine in anything but a neutral location will not fall within the specified adjustment clearance. Now, that somes it up mkay
-
Again, the pitchrod is not adjustable for angle. The mount is slotted so that there is no...ZERO pressure on the bushings... it works the same as a strut rod bushing. Designed to hold position not adjust it! If your exhaust hits or your u-joints wear out you have other problems. Better yet Genius... find me the pitchrod adjustment procedure in the FSM... oh yes, we'll wait!

Completely wrong. Go climb under one and check your angles... Generally speaking, with the engine sitting in the crossmember bolted to the transmission, and it is sitting in it's crossmember, tighten your pitch stopper. It is designed to stop movement. Not set an angle. A bubble level... really?

I have a few parts at Scott's that I am supposed to pick up. Maybe we'll have to do a road trip. Can't go Saturday. Maybe Sunday? Or if someone is going up and back... -
1991 Loyale Wagon - let the build begin.

I think both of you will stop. I don't know the history. I don't really need to either. Any more and there will be time outs, temporary or permanent, you will decide. -
Sorry I missed you guys. That thing is huge looking. Hopefully, we'll see it at the tree run.
