  1. You can report the post by clicking on the triangle icon at the bottom of the post. A mod/admin will check it out and decide if it is neccessary to delete it or just remove the nonsense.
  2. When you guys get your saliva off of Rick's scrotum we can continue this conversation. Clean it up or there will be a few part-time and full-time time outs given. Now as far as the englilsh class goes. childrens school buses and Children's school busses.(Just to be picky, both spellings are correct) The ' exhibits possension and ownership. Neither of which would be the case. And before any of you decide to push this you should all use spell check as I can find spelling and grammatical errors in every one of your posts. Back to Subaru!
  3. When you rechecked the timing marks what were the locations of the gears?
  4. Nice idea with the mirror. That is the only complaint I had while rolling doorless as well.
  5. Even with the little hiccups it was a great day! I think we all had a great time!
  6. You both have already stated the same things... more than once. Enough already!
  7. Nice, this weekend will be a blast!
  8. 264 or 272 profiles. Basically, a torque grind and a hot street grind.
  9. DOHC is $125.00 per cam. They have to be weld/grind. There simply isn't enough shim available to make up for the lost basecircle. You can install 2.2 heads for the "franken" motor and those run $82.50 each. Ken
  10. Looked like a good turnout. Sorry I missed it... Oh yeah, on another note. Our aggressive mud tires seem to have come up missing... no, they were stolen out of a friends locked garage in Portland. If anyone sees them please contact me. I would like to get them back... one way or another...
  11. I do remember the Sammi... BORING! I hope you can get up there! A little freaky the first time.
  12. It won't give it much of a lope. This is a torque style cam. We have a bigger HP cam but you will lose some of the low end torque. Ken
  13. That will take the 220 grind then. $82.50ea with a $40.00 core ea. Ken
  14. Rear are sort of stock... I pulled overloads and added a couple more stock leafs to the pack. I thought about 63's but I also have a set of 3rd gen rears that are similar in length to the Chevys. Only problem is that when I put the flatbed on I cut the rear frame down. Now, to add longer springs I have to add material back onto the end of the rails. Because if I go with longer springs I want to stretch it a bit instead of narrowing the wheelbase.
  15. Been on the trails a few times now with no breakage. Things work well. Happy with the results too. No pics from the trail just yet. Having too much fun to stop for pics, sorry! A shot from the driveway last night though. With a little downward pressure all 4 touch! Those are 35's on the Jeep!!
  16. The only way to be accurate is to go to a speedometer shop with a dyno that measures speed. Now, that being said, you could explain the slower speed by using a 3.70 transaxle. Have you engaged 4wd yet? It should not be 10 mph off by changing to a 5speed as long as the correct final drive ratios were matched.
  17. Excellent catch. However, are not all the non-turbo 4wd transmissions 3.90/1? I would tend to believe that the speedo gear in the trans could be worn or possibly different which could represent the difference in readings. And, if the OP states his speedo is that far off then I tend to believe that it is. Just because your speedo doesn't match that doesn't mean his doesn't...
  18. That should make your speedo about 6% slower than actual.
  19. I guess that is the difference between doing it and seeing it!
  20. The torsion bar reclock when done on my old Hatch was good for about 1-1 1/2" lift.
