They can be instructed that no one be allowed on site until we get there if need be! Just make it easy on us! -

You will be allowed in the grounds early. However, you will not be allowed to mill around or set up your camps. We have to set things up before that happens. Anyone that arrives in Hood River early should take advantage of it by doing some sight seeing. They have a micro brewery in town. There are lots of things to see and do there. The park staff is not responsible for the show or it's set up. Ken -
West Coast Subaru Show #8 date and venue decided.

Thanks Peter!! -
Started with a STi total add a Forester and stir(do not shake) and this is what you get. This the third one in our area. I know the owners of all three. The last one may be the best of all. I think all three will be at the show as well.

Just kidding!!! I have just recieved confirmation that they will be at WCSS8. They have commited to be there and bring some really cool things to be raffled and given away. I can't say for sure until he clears airport security both in Cali and here in Washington. So, bring extra money for raffle tickets. It will be worth it!!

First, those are for honda's. Second, there is not a front camber/caster adjustment for your vehicle. Without this you will have very bad camber angles with a spring lift. This will wear out tires and other suspension parts. As already noted the suspension lift will cause issues with breakage and travel and is not recommended on older Subaru's. NOTE, If you can afford those then wait a little longer and buy a legitimit lift.

As already stated the lightened flywheel will do nothing for you. The clutch is another story. Any stock replacement or heavy duty clutch will do just fine. What will wear your clutch offroad is the fact that you do not have a low-range(yet). If you continue to offraod you will find the neccessity for such a swap. Low RPM cruising is the norm for what you will be trying to do. But, you will also enjoy the smooth shifting of a HD or equivalent clutch assy. As you will find yourself out exploring and will want to use the forest service road with a little more speed that the 2.2 will afford you. I would order a Legacy 2.2 set because you'll need a cable style clutch kit. Good luck.

The Lakewood McD's. 512 and I-5. I may already be in Oregon so I will probably meet ya' all there.

Those are also the same variables that negate any answers towards the original question! Yes, 28" TSL Swampers mounted on pugs have been used without a lift. That rig had good suspension and an experienced person doing the bashing and trimming.

can you remove an auto trans from a seized motor?
Qman replied to idosubaru's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The only shaft connecting the tc with the trans is the pump. By removing the trans with out the tc you will just need to slide the pump drive back into the trans. If the body is going to scrap just unbolt the front uni-body and raise the body off of the motor/trans. Easiest way to remove the combo from the car. -

Thanks Moshem, you tell him he did an outstanding job. The few that have disregarded his fabrication ability should be ignored. The hours in glass work alone must be unimaginable. Every piece on the car has been hand made and what you see is the final product. Not the hit and misses that come from this type of product. I think he did a very nice job. Whether it was a mint model or junker from the start has no bearing on the final product. Nice job.

Looks like I will be running Truck/suv. The Impreza is still in need of the motor. -
DAMN MAV, that has to suck. Tell him next time turn the wheels, release the brakes and stomp the go pedal. Make the corner every time. The beauty of all wheel drive!!

Yeah, you were right Rob, they don't look bad at all. But, the alternative is soooo:brow: :brow: ooo much better!!
-
I don't know about that. I got lots of compliments on both of these.

It will work. The only difference is the coolant passages of the 2.5 DOHC heads are slightly larger than the sohc block. You will need to use the gaskets for the DOHC heads to make sure that you do not create interference when you put everything together. Good luck!!

Can you bring it with you when you come up? If so, I can get it off!

Missed ya' out there Bill. How was Thunderhill? The two others I talked to said it was less than pleasant. What did you think? I do not know why the gates happened. I thought it was pretty straight forward. I guess it was the fact that if you didn't make a mistake the course flowed great. But... if you made a mistake it would not flow so well. April did a good job with course layout. The powers that be were pressuring her to water at every moment. She held the line when the afternoon session was under way and no water truck as the winds were blowing SE away from the track. See ya' soon, Ken -
As long as he hasn't raised his motor back to stock he can do like Mike W. Then he could bring the bumper back to stock location or better for more approach angle.
