  1. Smart Service in Shoreline. This is there website. http://www.smart-service.com/ Mike Corbin is the boss/owner and a good guy. They tend to work on the newer stuff but are capable of handling the older stuff as well.
  2. Wheels looks pretty good. Is the price shown for a set or per wheel? Are they available in other colors?
  3. Sorry Corky, come down and harass, I mean help, away.
  4. Interior pics reveal 2wd auto. I smell a rat? Or at the least a very uninformed owner.
  5. Hmm, interesting. Side note, you still coming up this weekend?
  6. This step by step installation procedure is found in the USMB-Repair & Mod section. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/article.php?a=37 There are options to installing the 5sp into your vehicle. Jerry's kit retains the look of the stock linkage but is not neccessary for installation. I have done this mod to every one that I have kept(4). I also have installed a number of them for other club members. It is an improvement over almost all 4sp's. This is an improvement with larger and even stock tires. Better cruising speeds and increased MPG in almost every case(depending on driving habits and techniques). I was one of the first to do this mod in the states and currently have 2 5sp Brats. Good luck!
  7. Thanks for the responses. There won't be any issue in the front. I may have to shorten the front to match the rear.
  8. I talked to John. If my extra parts can be pulled in time to meet him tomorrow then I have the bulk of it covered. Brad, if I need the second set of parts picked up I'll let you know. Thanks all!
  9. Was there any difference in height, ie, how much lift did they actually cause? Stiff is good for what I am looking to do.
  10. Front Honda springs to the rear Subaru coil-overs. Which years and model were used?
  11. I need some parts brought up from Portland in a couple of days. Is anyone going to Portland or coming to Seattle between now and this weekend?
  12. The telescoping portion of the column is much larger requiring a larger hole in the wheel. It will not fit any other EA series cars.
  13. Hey, it was good to meet you. I will check to see if you left one behind. Ken
  14. Sorry Corky. I didn't see this until today. I had people over today and wouldn't have been able to leave. I might be able to sneak away tomorrow if you still need help. I'll know for sure tomorrow. Ken
  15. Sounds like the rubber mount has broken. It should be held up to the under side of the body by one nut. You can find them in junk yards and possibly the dealer.ts stores will not have them.
  16. I don't know curb weight but a sport wagon is about 200lbs heavier than an XT6.
  17. Mark, a majority of it is driver. After stating for the last few years that a Brat couldn't compete in open class I set third fastest combined scores for the day at the last rallyx, In an '85 BRAT. Although Bill P. handed everyone their heads that day. After the work you have done so far the RX would be competetive. See you in May.
  18. Sorry, but a 10 second Brat/Brumby is not ricey. Maybe instant ricey!
  19. Finally. You want to come down here and do it? I'll be around all weekend and will have car people in and out all weekend. You're welcome if you want to.
  20. They are the correct pt#. Some internet searching found that the number is still good. They are still available and run around $38.00 ea. This doesn't include the springs or attachment hardware. Odd thing is that the XT6 uses a different pt#.
  21. Yes, a 2.2 will bolt into the engine compartment just fine. All that is need is the original intake. It will bolt up fine. We were looking at the kids 1.8l Imp and Zap's 2.2l Imp/ Most things look identical including the transmission. Is that possibly the result of ping or predetonation over time?
