  1. www.ozified .com PK makes bolt in lift kits and will ship to your door. And if you want to go a little bigger you can contact; Mudrat Design & Fabrication I can build Anything Custom 541-206-2494 cell He is in Eugene.
  2. rear shocks adjusted up? Also check for rust in the rear or possibly bent parts. Especially if it is only one and not the other.
  3. Nope, Tex is carbed in the wagon. His RX is turbo'd. Being that the turbo is extremely sensitive to heat up and such. It just isn't usually used. Most of the stuff we do includes mud somewhere. Get that into the radiator and you won't come back under your own power.
  4. 4.30 which is less than 1% off of my 4.37 front diff. I have been assured by Randy's ring and pinion that it will be fine. Could even run it on the road in 4 wheel drive for short distances.
  5. And the standard profile mug shot!
  6. This shows the offset now.
  7. Here they are!Shot from behind I installed new perches. Kept the Nissan mounting hardware and springs. Fabbed brake lines to match the Subaru system(two lines to the back). The e-brake lines are hung up out of the way for now.
  8. I have created the Subassuzu. Subaru+Nissan+Isuzu= SUBASSUZU What you ask? I have now installed a rear disc rear axle from a '90 Isuzu PU(Spacecab) The ratios aren't exact but close enough to work with my configuration. This worked out for many reasons. I ws able to discard the crappy Nissan rear drum brakes as well as the 2 1/2" wheelspacers from each side. Yep, 5" of wheel spacing to match the Sube. Having the flange changed in the morning and the driveline goes back in. Still have to get the shock mounts fabbed up but I knew the Nissan rear wasn't going to last and wanted to wait until a new one was installed. Pics soon!
  9. Thought I would bring this one back out. How have things changed in 9 months? Well, Mine was a rear solid axle(Nissan) running a Nissan transfer case and 31's. Just installed a '90 Isuzu rear axle with disc brakes, Oh yeah, no more drums for me!! Working on rear E-brakes and better travel up front.
  10. There should be enough support there this time. Winches and on-board welders should be able to fix anything on the trail. Gas station on the way in should remedy the gauge issue. Hope to see you guys there!
  11. I don't know yet if there will be any empty seats. Keep watch and we'll know as we get closer.
  12. It is near Buckley. Stock 13's are going to make it very, very difficult to get through. Where in Lewis county are you?
  13. My Brat is almost trail ready again so I will try to run up there and check conditions.
  14. I am waiting for call backs or PM's from a few people. We could have as few as 3 and as many as 15 rigs. Anyone else interested?
  15. You should bring your Hatch up to the get together for Jared(see meet and greet) on the 26th.
  16. They are manuals. The camera did lie. The exit from the creek is almost vertical. Coming out of the creek bed with very loose rocks was a bit tricky. Trust me when I say that these are very capable rigs. Most are running near stock drivetrains as well. Rob, I got 'em and you can come see them here.
  17. Nice job Brian. Maybe you can shoot me a cd when you're done.
  18. Brian, I can't seem to get it to work here or through USMB.net gallery.
  19. I remember that. You learned about naked y-pipe wheeling that day didn't you?
  20. Will, it isn't easy being different. I speak from experience on this one. We put the last show on for just the education of all Subaru owners. Not all the new gen guys are bad just like not all the old school guys are good. When you go against the grain then you will have to deal with the nay sayers and those with more money than brains. It just goes with the territory. Being street is one thing, try doing what we do. We took little Japanese cars into the woods. Up against the big three and even the import truck crowd. No one took us serious at all. Until we started showing and proving our skills. It was very slow coming but the ones who actually started taking us seriously were rock crawlers. They build and fab their stuff and understand what we are up against. It's taken 4 or 5 yrs to finally get up a trail and not be asked if we mainlined it in instead of taking the trails in. The difference is we did it because we chose to be different not to be accepted by others. Don't press so hard to get their approval. You chose to run a different road. Enjoy the trip and do it for you(sound familiar?). Document your travels and be humble in your victories and respectful in your defeats.
  21. Let's start getting a list of who's gonna attend. Feb. 26th at Evans Creek provided it doesn't dump snow between now and then. 1 day event with alot of wheeling and BSing. 1 vehicle and possibly one other.
  22. Dealer for PCV valves, timing belts and thermostats. Most of the other stuff can be had at any parts store. Don't get the cheap stuff though. Ask for the better brands as generic will generally fail prematurely.
