Get yourself a pressure washer, and nail the inside

What's the car? My Evolution 1800 fits my thule bars and factory rack, they're just large u-bolt type things that you shove around the rack, and then from the inside you pop the things down.. and you're good to go, i'll get some pictures tomorrow for you. i Think the max width of the mounting bar is around 2.5-3" but i'll have to check on that. The mounting points are also wicked easy to move, just pop the lever up, and slide it to whereever on the track. I think your best bet would be to get the thing, throw it on the car, and try to mount it, if you NEED the other parts then get em.. but why buy more stuff then it should work without em? I really don't know what 'quick bars' are... so.. eh.

Fog lights won't help you with moose, mainly because you will only see their feet. 4 moose were hit by 6 cars near my house a while ago.. they're just so tall that headlights go right under them, i think roof mounted spot or flood lights would be your best bet for that situation. If you're set on putting them on the bumper, you can build yourself a bracket just tall enough to mount the lights to, you know.. a small rectangular thing.. so they're higher off the bumper, and over the plastic pushbar I'd persanally go for the PIAA's, but a friend of mine has Hella's on his jeep, and they're damn bright. As for wiring, all my extra lights (small KC's and crazy german fogs) are wired directly to the battery, with switches of course. This is nice, because you can turn on the lights when you have the car off... just don't drain your batt. Oh yeah, if you want to go for some serious light, get some lightforces, they're austrialian made.... freaking rediculous... i want some

So the other day, it got hot out, really hot, and i go to turn on my AC, and nothing happens.. just hot air blowing in my face. I figured that it hadn't been turned on in a while, i should just let it go for a while... nothing.. just hot air. I'm guessing it just needs to be recharged, i've never done it before, and don't know if you can do it... without going to a shop that is. Has anyone done this before? without having to deal w/ mechanics finding other stuff to fix

Something i like to keep in mind about AWD cars, the traction doesn't kick in unless you give is some gas. That sucks, i love my OBS.. but at first i didn't have such a good feel for it, and i showed some snowbanks who was boss. But now that i have a feel for it's handling, i can powerslide around lots of dirt corners.. some.... it's good that they didn't total it, because there's always some life in a subaru, no matter what you do to it! And if it makes you feel any better, i've done worse damage to my OBS backing out of the garage i descided to turn to soon.. going too fast... oops! just pop a new fender on that puppy, replace some lights, and you're golden.

Nothing to do with offroading.. but you mentioned hunting, there's 2 turkey's outside my window right now, i think i'm going to go after them with a golf club!

That's why i have no offroading pics Looks like an awesome time!

i wouldn't think more than a 1/4" would do much.... 20,000 miles isn't going to wear that much tread.. unless of course you said they were completely out of balance, this could lead to you having tread on one half of the tire, and not the other! (ewww....) mm... yet another reason i don't buy car parts at walmart

300 is abotu when i paid for my bearings to be poped out & swapped. but you have an OBS! make sure you have legacy bearings in it, or else you'll have the same problem again, somewhere down the road, mine new impreza bearings only lasted a year!! I just had legacy bearings thrown in this summer, no problems yet. (My mechanic hates my car )

I need more wheels! i have 3 16" forester wheels, 3 15" steel wheels, and 1 15" alloy For tires i've got some 4 15" Avid Touring's, 4 15" dunlop snow tires, and 3 16" coopers on the forester wheels. hmm..... those numbers don't match up very well
