  1. On the passenger side firewall near where the lines go into the evaporater there is a fuse holder for the AC circuit. Not sure if that is what you are looking for, but that might be a place to start tracing with a test probe.
  2. You put a lot of time on just getting to the head gaskets. In my opinion you should take it off, get new bolts, new gasket and begin again and do it right. Do you want to get it all together and 3 months later have the same problem? That is how I look at it. Others may think differently.
  3. There is usually an arrow on the filter indicating direction of flow.
  4. They can be towed behind if dollies are used. No wheels should roll on the ground.
  5. Well if you were dating before she was your wife and had a choice of her being named Globnik or Sarah, which one would you prefer?
  6. My recommendation is scrap the Saturn and get another Subaru.
  7. I had the same thing happen to me. Check the fuses first. Do any of the switches operate a window?
  8. Open the hood and look for capped stubs that would be for the evaporater. Then you would most likely need a reciever dryer and compressor along with the hoses to hom it all together. Check to see if there is a condenser in front of the radiator.
  9. Could just be a coincidence that something failed at that time. Correlation does not equal causation. Go back to basics, fuel, spark, air.
  10. It all depend on what you can afford. The wrx is depreciating but the still holds their value well. Every 16 yr old punk dreams of screaming around in a wrx. Did you buy the wrx as a daily or sporty wekender? If you don't drive it much and it was to be a daily, might be better to sell it and sock away the payments you would have been making. That's what I'd do.
  11. I would consider it a design flaw if it went bad just because a drink was spilled.
  12. Don't bother fiddling with it yourself. It is under warranty. Take it to the dealer and get a free coffee and donut while you wait for it to get fixed.
  13. The Georgia Consumer Affairs office can be reached at 1800 869 1123. Ask about the law and filing a complaint.
  14. What state ? The legal recourse available will depend upon the consumer laws of the state where the work was performed. I think most states require an estimate before work begins. I believe Washington requires the shop to get permission to continue if the work will exceed a certain percentage of the estimate. Check the Attorney General's website of the state where the work was performed.
  15. I lost mine and Bosch doesn't give them with new blades. Does anyone know the size or where I can get them?
  16. What somick said. They use closeouts to box box up junk they don't want that isn't even what was advertised.
  17. I go down a hill then turn up a hill and that is the point where it starts hesitating. I may see if there is debris in the tank. Not sure how to go about it though.
  18. I have experienced a similar thing but not on regular occasion. The one common thing are cold damp mornings. Only happens about one a month when trying to accelerate at the bottom of my hill. Feather the pedal and it starts running normally.
  19. If she goes with the brakes on, the brakes should be your first concern.
  20. Are your battery cables ends shiny new and tightly connected to your battery posts? Or are they groady greenish and loose?
  21. Check to see that you didn't miss a connection. Did you get a new or used pump? As for the spiking, I have gotten that before on accidentally turning key when distributor was disconnected. I don't think your ecu is the problem.
