cutting a lot of cutting
-
Weight is a big factor and I have been cutting here and there with my stock brat I am around 1500 right now but they make 26 9.50 x 14 tires for atvs so I was pressed on try them out because I thought they might be a little stronger then a 12 inch tire All in all I probably will go 30 with regeared sammi axles and transfer case but I have done that already now im trying something different like staying stock welding the diff in the rear and a 26 inch tire so little involved cutting I only do mud and moderate trails so not to worried about doing crazy jumps and wild stuff just going on trails and leaving behind a bite mark

kyb sells them still to -
I pulled out the bolts and left it where it was the intake gasket usually stays on the head. make sure you take off both sides of the intake then you can manuever it where ever you want with out taking it off...any more questions and I will be happy to help thanks mike
-
For those crazy questions about headgaskets, They are pretty easy to change and thats even after I had to redrill new holes for my intake it still only took me about 4 hours and it was my first time so any information for anyone is to dive right in and do it not quite as hard as you reallt think oh yeah dont forget to drain the coolant peace

The way I see it is we can make whatever we want and I would love to have a brat on a samurai frame 82- 90 fit right on with coil spring 6 inch lift 5.29 gearing and 35 inch boggers along with the 2.5 wrx conversion and a np 203 dual stick.....money talks and and well toyota stuff is all over some things are easier to do but break more often,, maybe in a few years i will grab an 80 that doesnt run by the time Im forty I ll have the talk of the state....hmmmm hence the avatar 12inch lifted 1979 brat with stock ea71 with dual carbs and stock suspension except coil overs from another ride up front and a welding jobby in the back..

I was just imputing that 1970 brats are a lot better for fourwheeling than the 80s when you put in the engine and tranny of your choice. that indeed will keep you from spending more money trying to fabricate a 80s and still can wheel it the same. I am putting in a toyota axle set up alot cheaper in the long run and mor flex....
