Anyone know of other make cars whose wiper arms will work on our splines? My pin arms are tired and the wiper blades have had the rubber refills replaced so many times that the metal is nearly cracking. At minimum maybe where to find the pin blades as in picture to get new, soft ruber again. LOL

So it was the radius rod. It was "Z" shaped and I straightened it. Shes back to her old self. Door tirm reattached but that front fender, well, its flatened pretty well. That lower control arm only has a slight bend but as stated above, the rubber bush takes that up. Thanks everyone. She lives for another day or 3,650 more! As a follow up as I havnt posted here in a while; She is my daily here in Denver. City car by weekday and Goat on weekends. Endless fun doing donuts when we get snow and I find and empty parking lot.

Can anyone tell me deffinetivley if the lower control arm is the same for 2wd and 4wd? My baby was involved in a hit and run last night in front of our house here in Denver and they pushed the left front wheel back, bending the left lower control arm. I have a full front clip from the same year model 2wd.

Hello all! I'm curious, has anyone seen or heard of anybody else fabricate a way to install ATV Portals to an old Subie? https://www.superatv.com/utv-portal-gear-lift does them for all types of side by sides. 3 gear so they do not run backwards, and housings machined from aluminum to reduce their weight. I have been to their website (and follow on IG) but never saw stuff for the early Soobies. I'll email Patrick and see what he has. Duane -

Thanks GD. Know of any suppliers for my old EA81? Duane -
So I bought my car with a previously installed 4" lift. The front camber is awful. What have people done to try and reconcile this? Thanks, Duane

Can anyone tell me the back spacing for these 8 slotted steel wheels? Thanks, Duane

Maybe instead of worrying about gears, I concentrate on an EJ22 swap. Make up for lost torque in the tire size with a bigger engine! D
-
GD, I saw in a search you mention a Toyota trans swap. Is there info on this out there anywhere? Duane

Thanks guys. I realize what I have. My wife and I own a New Jeep Cherokee and a 1968 Bronco. So I'm not trying to replace something. I just love these little buggers and am curious what there are for options. Maybe I'll just concentrate on a little more power (ie engine swap or fuel injection bolt on) and building a more compliant suspension. Sunday was our first time out on trails with the little GL. Performance was actually surprising. But holy hell does she ride rough. I was just curious if we had any option to gain a little more torque that was lost in the 27" tire upgrade. Duane .
