What are you looking to get.. like a 225/50? I don't think you'll have any problems.. just do all 4 tires at the same time. You may have to have your speed-o recalibrated.

WELL actually, we came inches from getting this AWESOME house on 4 acres with a two car garage, but little did we know that when somebody checks your credit your score goes down, so we didn't qualify for a loan...but! the place is STILL for sale, so maybe it was a GOOD thing we didn't get it..maybe not, the place was sweet...i'm trailing off here. I would get OEM head lights if I were you.. I know they are expensive as hell.. but the "aftermarket" ones are POS. I know this from experiance. How much did you find that GT hood for? I need one for my 98 GT

Do I need to adjust the valve lifters on this? How do I go about that, what tools do I need and how do I know it's right?

1984 GL Brat EA81 .. I have this really bad feeling like the whole time I've been driving this brat (not more than 100 miles) it has been running on 3 cyls. It seems like the #4 isn't fire.. and the compression in #4 is about 20 pounds lower than the other three... 150's.. 130 on #4. It's got like 230k miles on it.. I'm starting to worry this is going to be an expensive fix.. I'm hopin I just gapped the plug wrong.. but when I was taking my *NEW* wires off.. 3 of them broke... So now I gotta go spend another 18 bux for a set of wires before I can mess with it more. #4 not firing would be a good reason I failed emissions. Damn hydrocarbons. I'm gonna move my plugs around to see if it's the plug or not.. All 4 wires are getting spark.. but it might be a timing issue too.. the light I have is a POS. Now that I have extra plug wires though I can use the *good* timing light. Please if you have any suggestions for me to try? Thanks.

There are reeds in that valve. They must have gotten eaten away. There is a thread on here somewhere about how to fix the valve. You can plug the air suction.. but supposedly this can result in melting the catalytic convert... i hope those reed pieces didnt get into the carb.

Okay. Looked at the Xt6 Today. Oh Baby I want this car. All Time All Wheel Drive. Push Button Diff Locker. (No Digi Dash). 5 Speed. Electronic Controlled Air Adjustable Ride Height. ER27 looks to be in good condition. Oil smells like Oil. Coolant smells like coolant. Don't see any major oil leaks. exhaust looks okay. Engine has compression (didnt do a compression check) and turns over. Wont start. Fuel? Timing? Not sure. Mechanic at the yard thinks timing belt. Power windows work. Power mirrors Work. Needs a little interior work and a little exterior work. Clean (not salvage) New Mexico title. Front inner cv boots are WRECKED.. Original radio in car. No noticeable rust. Nice sun roof. One tire is crapped. Other 3 hold air. Talked them down to $400 so far.. damn yards.. I would like everyone input and suggestions.. especially about the price I should try to get it for. Thanks!

Essentially, a driver in Sweden bought a used 1999 Outback in 2000 with 12,000 km on the odometer. His most recent safety inspection shows that he had 807,801 km. He can only use his left foot to drive because of a birth defect. He's "retired" but freelances delivering camper trailers throughout Sweden, so about half those km were spent towing trailers.

I was reading about him.. he has a birth defect that he can't use his right leg to drive.. thats kinda gotta be a PITA to drive that much with just your left foot.. nah.. may be you'd get used to it huh? ... Either way .. Why would an old dude like that put his car on blocks just to have that many miles on his car? Also, it said he delivers campers or something like that all over sweden for a living. ALSO, it said he had the HG's changed.. a front CV joint.. and both rear wheel bearings(from all the towing I'm sure) .. It's believable.

I think anything 81-84 or 85 would fit.. as long as it's the same model (DL? GL?).. good luck. (It would help if you post: Year (you did), model, Engine type (ea81? ea71?), Transmission, any info you got about your car.)
