  1. Welcome. You must be new to Seattle, I snickered at the "where there are several subi owners" part. You'll see why.....
  2. Pic #1. Holy hell!! Pic #2. Dig the round air filter. Pic #3. Aside from the horribly cracked dash; a few bits-n-pieces and some elbow grease, looks like it should clean up well.
  3. Me too on the boxes. My current set-up has them in boxes but (the speakers) pressed up against the back of the seat.
  4. That happens sometimes. I'll post stuff and it never actually posts, then I have to go back and do it again. I also can't get pics to post from my laptop but I can from my desktop. I figure that's a problem on my end.
  5. Doesn't look bad at all. We would love to see the before pics. Members hard work is always appreciated! As for the dash, maybe it had a cover/dashmat or something on it that kept the red off while sitting at that location?
  6. Looks like the axle isn't pressed into the hub all the way.
  7. If you put the brat on ramps you should be able to drop (not literally!) it from underneath. I assume you have a floor jack?
  8. Quite satisfying when all that work comes together isn't it?
  9. Did some cleaning under hood of wagon. Still got some hoses I would like to tidy up... http--,,--// http--,,--//
  10. Yup. Cannister long gone. Vented gas cap, *smacks forehead* why didn't i think of that!
  11. '84 GL wagon webberized. Was curious as to what you guys are using. My local gas guys are getting tired of being sprayed with gas. Thought I would help them out.
  12. Here's some pics. Hope they help. '84 GL wagon. http--,,--// http--,,--// Looks like, after removing the blocks/spacers, it should bolt right up. But, what things look like, and what actually needs to be done, are not always the same.
  13. I'll give it a shot. I think I'm just overthinking this.
  14. Thanks. like you guys, I've used various Restore products with little satisfaction. I'm thinking some carefully applied paint stripper to remove the grey. Most likely i'll be going the Plastidip route. I used it on the front bumper (Not stock) of my Brat and it seems to be holding up pretty well.
  15. Bumpers on my wagon are faded to grey. I can scratch with my thumb nail and see pretty black underneath. Been looking on line at various restoration products but none seem to be what im looking for. Something to remove that grey layer. I've been doing spot tests trying to take that grey layer off, but so far my methods (various scratch pads/super fine sandpaper, etc) leave fine scratches. Any suggestions on this?
  16. Nice. I like you kept the EA71. Hope to have a 1st gen with one someday.
  17. Got some for both my '84 wagon and '85 Brat. It's been a couple of years but I think I had to call them.
