  1. '84 GL wagon. New tie rod ends, both sides. New lower ball joints, both sides. New front disc pads. New front axle, passenger side. New battery. Tomorrow, new brake shoes and hardware for the rear.
  2. Check with auto detail shops. Friend had his Wrangler detailed and the underneath looked like new. Never asked but with how nice it looked I would be surprised if it wasn't put on a lift.
  3. Looking forward to the "all back together" pics.
  4. Nice wagon! More pics plz. Really tho just regular tune-ups will keep that EA-81 running strong and reliable. If you can swing it, don't waste your time on the hitachi, go with the weber.
  5. Same here, used stock. Just had to bend it a little.
  6. Here's mine. Been posted before but what the heck! http--,,--// http--,,--//
  7. I'm replacing the ends on my '84 wagon, pretty much everything on the front end. So, out of curiosity I looked at the ends on my '85 Brat and one of them is bend to the front. I'm tracking straight, not chewing up tire, no vibration or wobble. It's my DD with 200 miles a week for several years. Should I fix this or, since it seems to be doing fine, let it ride?
  8. Very nice! Wish I had kept my old air cleaner.
  9. Cool. Both my parts are good then. Guess someone wasn't paying attention when writing the manual.
  10. Bump for an awesome thread!
  11. I ordered both right and left side. I noticed in both my (I've done this before) Haynes and HTKYSA manual that one manual has the bend facing out towards the front of the car while the other has the bend facing in towards the knuckle. Neither one mentions which way the bend faces or side specific. I'm wondering does it matter? I replace them just like they were on the car, but you never know what previous owners have done.
  12. Some reason I like it. I don't know why......... *Confused*
  13. The 2.5 will work fine. Have on both my stock '84 and lifted '85.
