the one on my brat ('81) is about the size of an egg. sounds like someone just put whatever filter on yours at some point.

'84 GL NO RUST! crack in windshield (have replacement glass) front and back bug squirters don't work (do they ever?):-\ passenger side marker light non working (bad wire) 2 cracks on dash otherwise as close to perfect interior as these cars get. needs brakes been having probs w/it getting stuck in 4th gear frequently cracked Y pipe (have replacement) front end has a shudder to it. not too bad tho possib. ball joints at fault. cross threaded spark plug motor is getting tired but i have a strong replacement for it. couple of small paint blemishes otherwise body and paint is really straight. lots of things i would like to do but nothing really all that wrong w/it.

seeing it also made me want another brat. there's also another DL just outside oakridge that i've talked to the owner about. got some good skin rust but never looked underneath. he doesn't want to sell... hurumph!

saw an '80? DL brat today (sat.) in oakridge or. parked at Rays. had the USMB "look" to it. figured it has to be somebody here. i have a very similar '81 GL that is no longer road worthty....sadness... may be parting out this summer if ya need anything.
