reading all the prev. posts in this and other thread, am i correct in assuming that these probs existed with both weber motors to varying degrees but only when in the car transplanted to? i have an idea that i haven't seen mentioned but it's so stupidly simple i'm hesitant to bring it up. i'll go back and re-read again. -

thanks for the reminder. time to winter up!

if you have a hitch wired up, that may be causing the stop light to come on when brakes are pushed. that was the prob on my wagon. just had to re-wire the pig tail and it went away.
-
was that the show that had the kid who did the whole race on his dirtbike? he was one of many great baja stories in that show. that show is awesome. seen it three times.
-
are you wired up for a hitch?
-
i have always coveted that Brat! wish i had the skills and $$ to do something like that to my wagon.
-
215,967. engine getting a little tired, still runs good tho. i have a peppy replacement in my Brat if needed. really been considering an EJ swap lately.

you drive a freightliner? i'm sorry.

that is exactly what i'm looking for in my next brat. a white/tan '82. nice score. i'll get mine someday......
-
i'm 217 and it's a 3 foot pipe wrench. prolly just going to replace it. chalk it up to bad luck on this one.....
-
it actually gets worse when i coast. i wasn't gonna make it loose, just snug, right now it's so tight i can stand on the wrench and it won't budge any tighter.

no round headlights after '81 if that helps.
