  1. ok, got the craptachi off and JB weld is setting. so 'till weld sets, i guess i wait...... good time to make some gaskets and go get some vac. line plugs.
  2. YAY!!! wish me luck guys. tips are appreciated.
  3. i just zip tied the lights to the load warrior. and the wiring is running down the driver side rain gutter, down to between the fender and door, then across up under the dash. can't even see the wires. no muss no fuss, and no unsightly holes in roof and head liner! i also used connector clips at the lights so if i need to remove the rack for anyihing, i just disconnect the wiring clips at the lights! pretty much a plug-n-play set-up.
  4. not at all! the rack mounts on the rain gutters. no cutting or drilling if i understand your post. yeah i wish they made tail light guards for old subies....
  5. sweet! thats exactly what i'm looking to put in the bottom vacant area of my push bar on either side of my lic. plate. plus two round style in the upper. now you just need MORE LIGHTS!!
  6. sorry for that post D. i'm just tired and cranky. 60hrs in 4 days at work with today (supposed to be day off, grr) to go. again i apologize. shouldn't have been a wongleflute to you.
  7. yell all you want. if you actually read and comprehend what is being written, you should realize i am asking a totally seperate question. i am asking if i can buy a bracket, because i am lazy, or if i have to fab one. other dude is asking how to get his current bracket to work. seperate issues.
  8. thanks guys. i'll prob. be fabbibg as the j/y's 'round here have motors and tranny stripped before they hit the lot. *frowns*
  9. hawt. what the hell is that parked behind it?
  10. do you have to fab your own or can you get one bolt on pre-made? weberizing my EA81. no prob. fabbing but i'm lazy so looking for the easy route. and will i need some new vac. line rubber?
  11. yeah np. not like they're expensive or hard to come by. carb cleaned up real nice. try to get on next weekend. do i need to block off (fill in) that little oval hole w/the tub in it thats on the manifold? if so whats a good filler. i'm thinking JB weld.
  12. simple thing first. check your radiator cap. if the rubber seal around the cap is even a little worn you will lose coolant. mostly in the form of steam, so you will not notice any puddles of coolant. same thing happened to me. was losing coolant at a pretty good rate (a gal. every couple of days) and could not for the life of me find any leak. began worrying about head gaskets then i thought to myself, "Hmmm". checked cap to find the rubber seal was rippled. replaced and been rock steady ever since.
  13. HAHA! the cargo area of your wagon looks like mine! ahahaha!! i even see some of the same things peeking up.
  14. my "brake light" indicator on my dash comes on when i press on brakes and stays on when i turn on headlights. yes bulbs are good. has something to do with the wiring for my trailer hitch.
  15. will do. hope to have finished today. started raining on me yesterday.
  16. straight switches. i like switches. a couple of red LED toggle switches to be exact.
  17. finally got me a weber (thanks brian!). now i need an air cleaner. what you guys running? i checked ebay not much on there. any sites i should look at? post pics of what you got, if you can, or model #'s will do. thanks!!
  18. hope to have these babys go live this weekend. been raining and working all week, and i didn't like the switches that came with them. i'm sure i could fit TWO MORE on there . just wal-mart 55w el cheapo's. now i just want to put a set of rounds in the open area of my push bar. here are some night pics. here is where i located the switches. no those wires are not to them. head on without flash. with flash. now i want two rounds in the top part of push bar and two rectangles on the bottom part on each side of lic. plate.
