  4. i love it! how hard is the EJ22 swap and what car would i look for to grab one out of?
  5. nice. i just saw one like it except blue in kent wa. the other day. sucker looked like it just rolled off the line. i'm serious. interior was flawless just like the outside. wish i coulda seen how many miles it had.
  6. i just got a hard-on. btw i've been wondering about fabbing a set of t-tops from a brat on to my '84 wagon. anyone here done that?

  9. really no advice to offer ya but i just did this to my '84 guage cluster. did all the heater controlls too. i've posted this several times, i'm pretty proud of myself on how it came out. either way i suggest changing out all the bulbs, even the good ones, on your replacement cluster while it's out.

  12. can't confirm but good score! i just had a little score at boneyard. found a blus set of those interior door handle trim pieces for my '84 wagon in MINT i really mean MINT condition! so many are all dried out and cracked and start getting that "flaking off." i have never come across a set this nice. not dried out either. but good score for 2 bucks!! oh yeah and those screwdrivers are great! i use mine for everything.
  13. i think you hit it. *sigh* i'm looking to put some lights on too. too much stuff not enough $$. so many little things i could get done for that cash. decisions decisions.
  14. i hear ya. i'm a cheap bastard. i don't need top-o-the line tint but not some bottom scraping fly-by-nite jobbie either, those coust you more in the long run. ill get something figured out.

i know what you mean. i'm gonna search some 2nd hand stores for some beater racks.
  16. some of you guys may remember my prev. thread about tinting my '84 wagon windows and this one outfit wanting $420.00. well i did some calling and the best i could get was $299.95!! still crazy IMO! not like they are large windows or troublesome curved glass. maybe if they replaced my front windshiels while they're at it. i got one last card to play. the company i work for has to have someone who handles the glass work for our trucking fleet. maybe if i butter up my fleet manager he could work something out for me. Hmmm, i know he likes beer...........

i have an '84 wagon and i want to put some lights on it. what have you guys used for inexpensive light bars?? i was thinking of using part of an old ski rack or something similar, something i could scrounge for next to nothing. i hope to put four square lights across the top and two roundies in between my push bar. suggestions?
