Rebuilt the weber on the Brat. Still having power issues, can't seem to get above 60 or so. I'll get it figured out eventually.

Awesome brat! Look in the CL/Ebay section. I posted a couple Brats. 1 is a parts Brat with a topper he may part with. Hard to tell condition tho. I really want the blue one.

Been Having trouble with the lights on the Brat for awhile now. Seriously, i went thru everything. Last option was to start stripping the harness and i REALLY didn't want to do that. So thanks to a post by Demon Brat I hooked myself up with one of these! http--,,--// It works GREAT! Now i have lights better than ever. Only thing i had to do was rearrange the 3 wires on part of the new harness that plugs into the old harness. What I did for that was take a replacement light plug (dirt cheap at any parts store), Put some spade connectors on the ends, then plug those wires into the old harness in the order I needed, plug the new harness into that and enjoy some lighty goodness!

SUCCESS!!!!!!!! Had to rearrange the 3 wires on the new harness where it plugs into the existing harness. Thanks G!

So what you are saying, trying to dumb this down for myself , is that I need to rearrange the 3 wires from the new harness that plug into the the old harness/light plug as the current set-up is not triggering the new relays properly?

Ok, I got this kit for my '85 Brat. It's working great except it's got me running hi beams constant no matter what position my hi/lo switch is in. Any ideas?

Yeah, I still haven't put my seat belts in just for that reason, and I still need one of the pieces the slips into the buckle. I never knew such a thing existed! My wife's best friend sews (has a nice machine), bet she could whip me up something!
