Hi all, My '87 hatch just broke down earlier today, at first I thought it might be a head gasket issue since the car was constantly overheating and it looked like oil might be getting into the coolant. However, after it finally stopped running one of the things I had noticed was that there was a small pool of oil at the bottom of the air filter. I had just put in a quart earlier in the day because the oil pressure was reading low, and the research I did elsewhere indicated this might be a PCV issue? I'm not sure what is wrong with the engine, any help y'all can provide would be greatly appreciated and I'd be happy to provide any details I know or could find out Thanks, Xavier

Here's my '87 hatch, she might not be fast enough to get through emissions, but damn if she doesn't get hybrid mileage and look hella cool doing it. The photo was taken a couple of days ago in the dark for *maximum aesthetic*, and for better or for worse my phones camera lens gave the headlights this sorta neat-looking starburst effect

Hello all, I've had my '87 hatchback since August, but as of the past couple of days the clutch has had some issues. See, I had the cable out earlier this week because the pedal end hadn't been properly installed by the previous owner. The pin holding it in fell out, and the whole fork connecting the cable to the pedal was bent out of shape. I got it back together but now it seems as if the clutch isn't fully engaging, the gears often grind when shifting even with it fully depressed, especially going into reverse, 1st, and 2nd, and when the car is starting, it'll creep forward even with the clutch fully depressed. If it helps, the car has an ea81 with a 4-speed transmission and a "hill-holder" clutch. Any help y'all can provide on the matter would be a great help.

Hello all, I've been the proud owner of an '87 GL for about 2 months now, and I've already seen how much info y'all have on these older subies that just isn't around elsewhere on the internet, but I've finally decided to bite the bullet and make an account on here because of some problems I've been having with the clutch, but I'll elaborate on that in a different post.
