  2. 1995 Legacy LS. Question I am running a set of WRX wheels with Protenza 205/55 RE 16 tires and want to know.... Will a set of Potenza size 225/50 ZR16 run on the WRX wheels? Secondly can I run the 225's on the rear with the 205's on the front. Problems suggestions? Looking for help from the experts or who I could call to find out the information. Thanks for your quick response. gerald
  3. I purchased a set of semi-metal brake pads, brembo rotors for the front and retainted oem rear rotors. Excellent service, nice people to work with. The 95 LS stops so much better now with the brembo rotors and semi-metal pads. A little squeal in rain but otherwise very pleased all the way around. Wish now that I had repaced the rear rotors. I highly recommend them and John was very helpful. NC
  4. Rode to Boone and area this weekend with 35# front and rear. Good ride and handled well. Will go up some on pressure. Running 40 and 30 does that not cause your tires to wear in the middle? Thanks for your input. monk
  5. Thanks, That sound like a good plan but appreciate any experience out there. monk
  6. Thanks, I think I will run them at around 35 per your suggestions and push them higher when I go to the mountains. Thanks gerald
  7. When I changed mine, quite easy. I also put antiseize on the threads to insure next time will be even easier. Monk
  8. Just bought a set of new WRX wheels and tires for my 95 legacy. the stock tires have about 1000 miles on them and really dress up the car. Question: What is the recommended tire pressure for these tires? The max tire pressure on the tire itself states to not inflate over 44 #. I drive in piedmont of NC and up to the Blue Ridge mountains. Any idea? Thanks:-\
  9. Thanks Suzam, Looking on ebay and negotiating for the lugs. Good suggestion. Monk
  10. Thanks, I checked yesterday and was incorrect about the stock size on the 95. The tires are actually the 15 inch and therefore the 16's should fit OK as you have indicated. Guess I was remembering the 300 SD Mercedes that did have very undersized 14 inch tires. Thanks again, I plan to buy a set of 16 inch and your input is very timely and helpful. Monk
  11. Thanks for the quick response. Yes it does help. The tires, wheels, all same with same milage, so should be fine. Do you experience better gas milage? Thanks monk
  12. Quick question: Thinking about buying a set of used WRX stock wheels and tires to go on my 95 legacy. Will the WRX 16" wheels fit a 95 that has 14" stock tires and wheels? Any problems doing this? Any advice? Thanks for your quick and timely responses. monk50:confused: http://usmb.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/newthread.php?s=&action=newthread&forumid=3# http://usmb.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif
