  1. You guys are going to love this. So I get the Subaru back after they replaced the steering box. They called me and told me it was done. I pick it up after five last Friday and leave the keys in the loaner per there request. So It feels like sh$t, like they didn't even do anything. So I call them Sat. morning all and the girl tells me that they are still waiting on some parts (WTF? Seriously) and that it will all be fixed soon. Why even ask for the loaner back? So I get a letter today in the mail telling me that my service is done and thanks for buying from them. On top of that I'm driving it home and the check engine light comes on and the cruise control light is flashing after I fill it up. (Checked the fluids and nothing is low) Anyway, I'm over this BS. What do you guys think, should I take it easy on them tommorrow or should I show them my true feelings? This is my first new car and this crap is ruining the experience. I'm so sick over this. I baby this thing, Mobil 1 since 200 miles, I let the turbo spool down, let it warm up before hitting the turbo. GRRRRRrrr.......
  2. I'll have to double check when I get it back exactly what it was. They weren't very clear. I noticed a couple weeks ago that the steering was stiff as sh$t and it kept getting worse fast so I took it in. The dealer has had it for a week now, I guess they are waiting on parts. Anyway, they gave me a base 06 with the auto and I'm deffinitly missing the turbo stick. God I hope its not a lemon. I'll keep in touch about exactly what it was that went out.
  3. 2005 Red Turbo Outback, dosen't even have 4K miles. Dealers has had it for over a week now. Hope this isn't just the begining. -J
  4. Thanks for the replies. I think I'm going to keep it 35% on the front windows and darker on the back windows. -J
  5. I swear half the people in my town drive Subaru's. I now understand why. -J
  6. Never done this before. Any ideas? The driver and passenger doors can't exceed 35% vlt, but the back windows and tailgate can be whatever. Should I just do 35% all around or make the rear windows darker? The car is a red 05 Outback. Are some brands of tint better than others? 3M? Thanks, -J
  7. Just got a new XT Outback Limited and was thinking about replacing the bulbs with some silverstars. Will this make them even brighter? Good idea bad idea? -J
  8. Thanks for your help guys. My question hasn't been answered though. If anyone knows anything let me know. Thanks, -J
  9. Anyone know if they are going to release a navigation system soon for the outback? Dates? Thanks, -J
