  1. Okay so I got the rear Legacy brake set up on and working (with the e-brake) Here are some images: I modified the tabs on the legacy e-brake handle to fit in the stock EA location. Drilled 2 large holes to bring the cables through. Cut & Modified the stock Legacy mounting bracket, then drilled and welded some bolts to the floor. Stock Legacy rear brake. Ring to weld into place so that the brakes fit on the rear of the hatch. Ring welded into place. Painted, Re-drilled two holes in the Legacy backing plate, then mounted. Rebuilt & painted legacy calipers and installed some sweet rotors. I also got my 4.111 LSD rear end assembled, painted, polished and installed. More stuff to come very soon.
  2. What's your price on a set of 2.2 torque grind cams?
  3. alright so this thing is in full swing. - I'm taking my drive line in to Portland Drive Line today to get that made. - The sleeves for the axles are being made as we speak. - I've got all the sifter stuff bolted up and working good. - The EJ e-brake has been modified to fit and bolted in. I'll put up a ton of photos once I've got everything installed and working properly.
  4. None to speak of yet. I'm just trying to gather all the parts I'll need to get this thing tip top.
  5. Check with the beast I drive (aka Bill). He's got a ton of stuff.

  6. I got mine off of ebay. The FK coilovers were for a late 90's GTI.
  7. Well I'm going to try it out and see if it works.
  8. Update: So I'm going to scrap this idea and just do white on a couple of different color shirts. I think it's just too expensive to do all the colors. This way I can keep the cost down and people and afford to buy them. I'll start a new thread once the shirts are finished with all the information.
  9. Built by "the beast i drive" aka bill.
  10. you might want to make the phone number a little bigger:grin:
  11. Let's see I've got the AWD transmission matted to the EJ22 and now I'm working on fabricating the cross member. Then it's time to start fabricating the axles and drive line. I know the axles will have to be 2" shorter. I will cut, sleeve and weld them together. I'll post some photos once I get everything put together. I'm also working on scoring some newer 17" Subaru rims.
  12. Okay so I'm gearing up to pull the motor and refinish the engine bay, mount the transmission to the motor and reinstall everything. Then I can build some axles and a drive line. AWD here I come! I also just got an EJ25. As soon as I figure out when and how I'm going to pick it up I can start building my high compression motor with torque cams. I think once I'm finished this should be a torquie little hatch.
  13. So my brother in law backed into the wagon the other day. Smashing up the hood and breaking out one of the headlights. :-\
  14. I'm looking at doing a similar set up in my hatch. I'm just going to use a 2002 WRX set up though. I've got the fronts finished, but need to install the rear yet. I got a few of the adapter rings from Reagan (I think that was his name, the dude with the WRX BRAT). I painted my the topical ricer red. Nice job on yours.
  15. It took me about a year, but I was determined to get it running. My hatch had only 114,000 miles on it and ran great. I did feel a little like a knob having sit in my driveway not running for a year, but I think that's what I used to fuel my determination to get the thing running and driving. Funny, now it's sitting in my driveway again all torn apart waiting for an AWD conversion. Oh, projects. Why can't I leave them alone.
