  1. I had a problem like this and it turned out to be that my cat was clogged. Check and make sure you have a good flow through your exhaust system.
  2. I know, I'm using dial up and it's killing me. I also can't stay away from this site. Oh next sunday, ya I've got lots of big important things to do that day.
  3. It feels about the same as my 1998 Legacy Outback, which is a great improvement over stock. I can't wait to take it throug some mud.
  4. I'll have to wait till after the show to fix that.
  5. Update: The thing is running great. I had a lifter that was knocking a little when I first started to drive it, but it’s gone now. I’ve driven it over 60 miles now and only have a few little things to mess with. I’m going to install a new throttle cable ‘cause mine is sticking. My passenger side axle is making a funny sound every now and again and I need to go through the brakes too. So things left to do before the show is: install the LSD, Tint the windows, install a pitch stop, move the intake and clean up the wiring under the hood a bit better.
  6. Update: The exhaust is done and now for the LSD.
  7. Cool, I can't wait. I might have one or two more coming with me too.
  8. We'll be meeting up at the Hooters in Beaverton on Friday at 2:00pm and grabbing some grub, then we'll all leave together in one Convoy. Everyone's welcome to join. I've done this the last couple years and it's really fun, and if you break down you've got the support of the group there to help out. (Not like we're going to break down, we're diving Subarus right?) Here's the address to the Hooters: 11995 SW Beaverton Hillsdalehw Beaverton, OR 97005 (503) 646-9464
  9. That sounds cool with me. I'll start a thread and see if we can't get other people to join us.
  10. Update: I just got an LSD, now for the installation. My exhaust should be finished this week. I hope it all works 'cause the WCSS isn't that far away and I really want to bring it.
  11. Just to be on the save side I installed my transmission, and then installed the driveline in the transmission. That way I could measure exactly how much more I needed, 'cause you don't want to pay for 2 custom drivelines. That's what I would suggest doing.
  12. off of I205, but we can meet somewhere else too.
  13. I paid $100 to have this one made for my Hatch from Portland Driveline. It's all new with new u-joints. Contact them and see what they can do for you.
  14. I meet up with some great guys from Mountain tech last year and we all went up together. We just need a time and place that will work for everyone. I think we did Hooters last time.
  15. I took the upper cat off of my old EA82T and put on one hotter cat. It passed with flying colors. If I were you I'd try just changing the oil as well and make sure the car is good and warmed up before running the test.
  16. I put them on from underneath. (it was a pain) I started to just take the fenders off but I started to brake bolts off so I stopped and just installed them with the fenders on. You'll have to post up some pics once you get them installed.
