I purchased an aftermarket alternator 3 pin clip with pigtail for my 2014 Impreza. The aftermarket clip has a solid red, then green, then black wire, yet the original clip has a corresponding Black with white stripe, then White with red stripe in middle, then Black with red stripe. As long as I line the original striped wires from the harness up in the same order/position as they were originally to the aftermarket solid colored wires of the new pigtail clip, should I be okay? In other words, does red wire (aftermarket) = Black with white stripe (original); green wire= White with red stripe; and black wire = Black with red stripe? Thanks!
