It's not a matter of convincing the wife, it's a matter of not like 4 door sedans. The wife could care less which car I get, since it will be my daily driver. -

I used to race Alfa Romeos, I understand that they are returning to the USA in 2007, that's one possibility, I also had a long association with Porsches, I really like to new Cayman. Or I might try a new make, Mercedes has a slick little coupe. I'll probably still have my 96 WRX Type R as a toy. -

Well you could always go on the Subaru web site and check it out for youself, weird or not. -

That will never happen, I'll buy something else before I'll buy a sedan, and I would never buy a WRX wagon. -
The wife is hinting that it is possibly time to get a new car. My dilema is that I don't like 4 door sedans and that is currently all the Subaru make their WRX/STi cars in. I've heard a rumor that Subaru will bring out a 2 door again, but not until the 2009 model year here in the USA. So, if I get a new car now, it will not be a Subaru, but can I make my wife wait for a car that may never materialize.

Sorry, but it isn't a bored out 2.0, it has it's own special block, and unlike the EJ22T, it doesn't not have the oil sprayers to cool the pistons. A better description of the engine might be an EJ22 block, with low compression turbo pistons and DOHC heads similar to the EJ20G. Like I stated, the limited production was called the 22B, it was available in all countries that have right hand drive vehicles.

Subiefest Rally X thread. Got pix or stories?

Same problem here, I wonder if the Primative site has them up? Nope just checked, they link to the SubieFest site. -
Just what is it that you are trying to do??? You need to look for a turbo on a 2 liter or less engine, the will keep it close in the sizing department. There are a lot of used turbos out there, it's best if you have your old one with you to check before you buy.
-
In a word, "No!", but there have been poeple who have created an adapter plate so that you can use the WRX turbo on an EA82T engine. It is a better turbo just by being a newer design, but I haven't heard of any great gain in power by using it.

So, did anyone get Block's time, or did they even put a clock on him. It would be great to see how Ken and Zap compared. Who was the old guy in the Legacy GT, kind of looked like the guy who ran the Audi at WCSS 8. -
Too bad I didn't hear about that, I would have laid into him for you.I need to check where they are, but I believe there is a roll bar manufacturer in Oregon. Here you go, http://www.safedrives.com/products.asp?cat=72

Don't know if it will help or hurt, but you could use my name with the owner of All Wheels Driven, he knows me.

Seattle to Portland or visa versa
Dr. RX replied to Dr. RX's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
That's ok, I haven't paid for the wheels yet, just trying to line up transportation first. I'm hoping that I can talk the guy into coming up to SubieFest, that would solve all logistic problems. -

I don't know as many of them as I do here. So if there are several from here, why haven't they said anything? -

Anyone from the Portland area coming up to SubieFest??? -
I need to know if anyone is making the trip between Seattle and Portland and back or Portland to Seattle and back in the next few weeks? I need to have a set of wheels picked up in the Portland/Beaverton area. PM me if you are.

You could come and join the one we will probably have here in the Northwest. We always have a good time and plenty of fun in the snow. You'll probably go home with the best tree to be put up this year in Colorado if you do.
