  1. Actually the WCSS events have always been a little later in the year like spring, thats when the mudd starts drying up. Maybe they could hold the event earlier the year? OR we can do something different and call it the Subaru MUD Festival. What? Nobody around there has a Water Truck? We have had to do this a few times at previous shows. What I miss is the RallyX events and mud pits
  2. I suggested the correct way to do the job. The chance that someone would have a pair of Channel Locks big enough to turn the bottom is the same as that person having spring compressor tools. You can rent the spring comp at most Parts Stores and it makes the job alot easier. And you dont mar up the bottom of the shocks doing it.
  3. This "Boy" goes to Mad Dogs Diner I like to eat, but these dishes are so big I have to get a half order
  4. You need a coil spring compressor tool to adjust the shocks. They adjust from the bottom, with 3 different settings. I'm not sure if the strut is replaceable.
  5. If you want to find out if its the gov, just remove the cover and pull the gear out. If the center is worn out, the unit is bad. Simple as that.
  6. Yes, please. Let us know where he wiil be staying. Someone here should be able to visit him.
  7. Whatcha lookin for Mykey? Give me a ring, might want to go too.
  8. Call me when you get in. We'll set up a time and place to get together.
  9. I have 2 of each Well, 2 EA82T's and 2 XT6's anyways. But I would go with the XT6. Stock HP is 145hp. And lots of fun to drive
  10. If the trailing arm isnt dropping far enough when you jack the rear up, you may have to remove the lower bolt on the shock to get the axle off.
  11. You would need to go with straight axles to put a DL in. The easiest way is to weld the rear diff and just run with one axle removed when on the street. Lots of us do this, me included.
  12. Sounds like you spun a hub. Pull the dust caps off the front axles and then get out the car in gear while running. See if the axle(s) are turning in the hub(s). Oh, and it would be a good idea to block the wheels
  13. I would try Craigslist.org before Ebay. Its free
  14. The rest of that cap might fit on someone's Bratch No, I dont have one. But theres a few that do.
  15. Why get expensive flares when they will just get torn off when you offroad the car? Unless you dont have any trees or big rocks where you offroad?
  16. Let it run for a while, it might burn off.
  17. Sorry you had to come so far for nothing :-\ It was so dark out, you couldnt see my "collection". Bill's a good guy, had a few deals with him and has always come thru
  18. Go to any garden store or major dept stores garden section and look for the 3in rubber or PVC seperation stripping. Its used for dividing the lawn from flowerbeds. Comes in rolls.
  19. Eh? Did I miss something, or is CRS getting me again? (probably both)
  20. Heck, he's got a full size Blazer. Woosing out on us Corky? You know I'll be there. My Hatch hasnt seen snow yet
  21. You will also need the complete exhaust also. Either the EA81T or EA82T, cross-over pipe (Header) and the down pipe. But if you go this route, you will need to make a piece of pipe that will replace the turbo. And the cross member from a turbo car is needed also. The whole thing might be easier if you used a EA81T and replaced the turbo pistons with FI pistons.
