  1. I still have the piece in my RX, never had any issues with.
  2. I thought the outside temp gauge is XT6 specific and part of the trip computer? If he's got a XT6 why should it need changed?
  3. I'm looking up some links over at the XT forum, I'll try and find more later. http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8804&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=digidash http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9555&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=digidash http://subaruxt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11422&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=digidash
  4. I'm not sure Schwabs will align it with the lift on (not 100% sure tho). Give me a call later, I might be able to look at it.
  5. I went back and read the thread. I'm really surprised because the person that recommended him would never steer someone in the wrong direction. I myself would never hesitate going somewhere he mentioned. Very perplexing and I will have a talk with him about it. Sorry you had such a bad experience with the shop/mechanic.
  6. Swapping in a EJ (read my thread in the retrofit forum)
  7. I'll take a led flashlight and see whats in there. I'll also look for a plug/connector in the wiring diagram (got to scan them anyway)
  8. Hopefully it wasnt someone from here that recommended him :-\ And I wouldnt let him touch your car again, he might make things worse.
  9. Save up for the whole shebang. HG's, all the seals/gaskets and oil pump kit. Get the oil pump stuff at Auburn Subaru and tell them you want the internet price. The rest you can find online for cheaper.
  10. Yes indeed, I have picked up a few for less than that price!
  11. How old is the gas? How long did you run it before getting it tested?
  12. Yup, your right. My parts book only goes to 88 and didnt show it. Went to Fitz's site and found the info.
  13. I put a early Legacy MC on my RX, running mid 90's Imp calipers on the front. Suberdave is correct. I've noticed less pressure pushing the brakes but it takes more force to stop. I have a set of 2 pot WRX calipers that need rebuilding then they are going on, along with bigger rotors.
  14. Almost any car can be turned into a track monster, just takes money. Most of the Subaru owners in the PNW know what a GL is :-p
  15. Your problem is the NAPA axle. Its a rebuilt, right? 99% of them are not up to standards and this is why its clicking. And yes, the lower ball joint can be bought separately.
  16. My kit came with sealant, hopefully yours does also. The buckets are installed, little hard to get a pic now. I'm working on another set and I might be able to get a pic, but theres nothing special about it. I hope you have 2 sets, so you can be working on one while you drive the car.
