Yea, and check out the specs. The added weight is 1,340 to 1,610lbs. Thats half what the car weighs. Recommended GVW is over 10K. If you think the ATV setup can be adapted to a Soob, then go for it. Somebody else checked into this last year, and found out the price was quite high. Rob

You better figure on dropping a V8 in the car also. Thats the only thing that will push that much track:eek: Rob

Turbone replied to a topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
It looks like the article hasnt made the transfer yet from the old USRM. There were alot of things in there, and the folks doing the transfer are still working on it. Rob -

Turbone replied to Do It Sidewayz's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Probably the coolest looking Justy I've seen yet. But, for those of us that are still on dial-up (15min DL time) please downsize your pics in the future. Rob -
"Convertible section"? Wasnt aware there was one. If its not Hatch Patrol, its "Other Soobs". I just added 2 more pics of the 84 in CT. Richie is going to restore the car, not sure if he has started yet or not. He is located in the Portland, Or. area. Rob

Balljoint removal and installation
Turbone replied to GeneralDisorder's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yes, caveman style:D Take a hammer and sharply hit the ball joint end(housing) till it pops out. Same with the lower control arm ball joint, but this one may take a few serious whacks. Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for damage done to hardware or body parts using this method:rolleyes: Rob -
Way to go guys(and gals). Cant wait to hear and see all about it. If I have to run away from home, I aint missing the next one:banghead: Rob
