  1. Yes, you need a 3.9 rear diff to match the 3.9 MT you have now.

  7. All thats needed on the x-member is to ream the holes out about 1/2" towards the center.

  13. Was all excited to start my SVX yesterday. Put 2.5gal fresh gas in it and dropped in a battery. Doubled checked everything, good to go. Turned the key.....................whir....whir...whir Sat there and thought about it for a sec and went doh. Forgot to connect the flexplate to the torque converter Now the fuel pump is seized and I have to pull that :-\

  15. A lifted 3dr from many years ago. Belonged to a guy named Russ. Subaru's best ad from the 70's. A guy named Mike owned this lifted XT6 for a while. He put it back to stock and sold it. Was at WCSS6 I believe.
  16. I always remove the x-member bolts theres only one per side. And once the engine is high enough to clear the x-member, pull it forward. The lower studs come out of the bellhousing.
  17. Yes, thats what I meant :-p Ok, thought you had placed the bearing on the shaft.
