  1. i vote for the plywood idea mike sounds like the perfect solution with what you have planned:headbang:
  2. since there going to delete this any way i would like to add that i agree
  3. what if other people who don't know better fall for this stuff?did you read my or 91 loyale's posts on the last page? the ones quoting bgd73 there's some very misleading stuff, and some total bs, i'm just sick of this guy asking for help then going ha your wrong and furthermore i learned this and your advice was total bs. the problem is evreyone here is to nice and no one gets on people who post worthless bs. aside from one mod who rightly so follows me because i do post allot of bs this has gone so far out of control no offense ment to any one except bgd73
  4. true enough how many are we at three , four how many will it take or will all this be deleted any bgd will never see it or will it be left for him to ignore
  5. i hear the temp sensor doesn't go bad the big problem over on the xt-6.net is corrosion causes the computer to get a high resistance value and it thinks the car is over heating and goes into limp mode the surging is it getting an inconsistant reading and switching modes quickly. very common problem on sixes, but thats just my research on xt's don't know how it will apply to gl10's
  6. i thought we had already tried blunt and failednm: we tried obviouse hints lol
  7. i'm getting a pissed off pm from a mod tonight i know it
  8. good call thanks for those of you who don't want to read this i'll recap: 1.he illegally dumped all the egr stuff off his car in the woods 2. he brings no proof to the table about his arguments and merely state's don't question my integrity take my word as god's 3. some random statement about how the egr makes the clock, and heater resistors burn out? [don't ask me i'm just recapping] 4.
  9. check your coolant temp sensor my six did the same thing i changed the plug and it's gone, i don't know where it is on a turbo though
  10. your clearly impeding free speach on the intranet hey GD do you remember which thread i posted that excerpt quoting him in which he ditched his egr stuff in the woods, it seems relevent to quote that here but i can't find it
  11. don't swap the injectors.!!!!! if your already having problems upgrading is not a good idea also try remove the distributer cap check for carbon build up if there small lumps IGNORE THEM. check the rotor makesure there is little or no build up. this can also cause a miss
  12. i have to agree i come here to help people with cars and get help with mine not here how you are god that any subaru engine not ea82 is a pos, and here some bs theory about some nonexistant force, you have contributed some small amounts of useable information i liked your writeup on rust hole repair aside from that i wish you would shut the hell up allot of the time. serously trouble shoot before posting it here for the love of god check your driveshaft
  13. gd many things i agree with you on but let's put dislike to the side and try to help him with his problems. so nothing happend when you pulled off one of the injector wires, did you pull the injector and clean it i reccomend dipping it in some berryman's b12 chemtool drying it and repeat. if that doesn't work use a meter to verify that you have power to the injector then go to the junk yard and pull a few clean them and try yhem
  14. buy a mitsubishi eclipse then see how bad subaru's are on head gaskets, were talking evrey three oil changes here
  15. it's a 20 year old subaru outside this board there is no collectors value. the dl/gl bodys are the same as the loyale the only differance is the writing on the trim and the style of the trim.
  16. i wish i knew you needed one i hit pullnsave this morinig, i'll be going out again this week i'll grab anything with low miles and major damage if you want me to, just give me a price limit and how much of the engine you want?
  17. toughest engine ever built the only downfall is the carb, but you have a 93 loyale parts car to spfi it:grin:
  18. ea82's are a diem a dosen head down here well hit the yards and find a lowmilage one somewhere
  19. i know of a place that rebuilds injectors but they're perfoarmance baised. aside from getting them enlarged for greater flow, it doesn't need to be done
  20. actually you can leave it bolted to the diff just undoing the two bolts on the bottom will give you enough freeplay to get it out be careful not to drop it
