welcome you've come to the right place for subaru help also since your in colorado you should come to the colorado meet see the post three or four down, any way ity should be on this page -
because today the ecu handle fuel management, fuel injector timing, igntion timing, and a bunch of other stuff handled manually in the old day, not to mention that todays ecu's are actual computers that can be reprogrammed, the ecu's from the eighties were hardwired to do one thing with no programming modification allowed

dude that looks pretty cool i see loyals with rust quite often they are just allot newer so they havent had time to collect a healthy amount of rust all subarus need to survive -

i wouldn't mess withtthe thermostat unless your sure i put a 195 in place of a 180 in my friends civic and all it did was make the temp gauge go way up then way down while you were driving it then a month or two later it blew a head gasket -
So i poured a bunch of acetone in my fuel tank...

get an msd blaster pack2 will plug in with no modification and it is better than the stock coil and i can tell you it works great

ya sry thats how you put it in when you have to bypass the maf you pull the line off the brake master cylinder and stick the line in seafoam untill the engine stalls DO NOT PUT ANYTING BUT BRAKE FLUID IN YOUR MASTER CYLINDER AND THE TRANNY ADDITIVE IS A SEPERATE PRODUCT sorry about that kinda skipped a groove when i wrote it
