  1. EA82 Hi-Rise Console? I might have one of those in my garage... Can't remember teh color, I want to think grey though. Let me know if you want it Zap.
  2. And any others that want to come out and throw down. Booom!
  3. Well, i'm going to have to get the lines and tank out of a car before I can put them in my car. Apparently my CARB tank and lines are having trouble supporting my stock EJ22 swap.
  4. How hard is it to remove an entire fuel system from an EA82 wagon? (turbo) I need to change out all my carb lines and tank to MPFI lines and tank. In sight would be appreciated.
  5. I'm betting he ripped the front ones out... on the radius rod plate. Thats what happened to my car... and pretty much the reason I don't get it dirty anymore.
  6. Unfortunatelly Gee recently announced he will no longer be making the kits, as its just not cost effective anymore. I've sent email off to him to see about getting the design of the adapter plate, and what mods need to be made to the backing plate so I can do a small run here stateside for the couple of us that are interested in bigger brakes in the rear. It will be really sad if all those great ideas just dissapear because he doesn't think their is enough money in it :-\
  7. Fatz... thanks for the info on the lift kit. I'm attempting to contact Hi-Rise and see if they'll ship to the US. Also, can you explain what parts you used to do your 5 lug in the rear. I am under the impression that you guys didn't get the XT6 over there, which is how we go about 5 lugging the L series cars here... More specifically I'm interested in if you have legacy/impreza style brakes fitted to the rear, and if so how you did it.
  8. Search for Suberdave on this forum, he put some coilovers on his 5 lug converted GL10 Wagon. He used 05+ Legacy GT coilovers, by the maker of Tein. Its very possible to now have fully adjustable coilovers on our cars.
  9. Thanks. I found 1 drivers side switch and 2 passenger side switches in my garage. Today at work I cleaned all of them... However they are all different colors than the ones in my car, so I'll have to do some swapping when I get around to getting the door panels off.
  10. Ok. I may as well replace the stuff, i even already have the relay. Do you think its safe to bypass the breaker and fuse the connection instead?
  11. Checked out the relay tonight... It looked fairly good. The power wires have a little bit of discoloration (as you can see above) but were still pliable and tested fine at full voltage. So, do I leave good enough alone? or should I put in a new relay... I'm tempted not to at this point... I will now turn my attention to the door switchs. Unfortunatlly this will require a bit more work pulling off my custom door panels and such.
  12. PM bacaruda or monstaru... they will be your most likely sources. I occasionally go over to visit my wife's parents, if one of them has them still by the time I go out next I can bring them back. I however don't know when that will be...
  13. What lift is that? How tall is it? Who do I need to contact to get one?
  14. While the heat hasn't been helping... The car has always pressurized the tank since I did the EJ swap.
  15. Excellent, thanks for the link to that write up. I'll give it a go and see if it works!
  16. My EJ22 swapped wagon has some occasional hesitation which more and more seems to be from a fuel delivery issue. I'm now starting to investigate the fact that my gas tank seems to get heavily pressurized, and if this could be a cause of my hesitation issues. So... I have the gas tank vent open to atmosphere at the engine bay with a little filter on it. Filter is brand new, and is not clogged. Where else should the tank be vented? Any other ideas on why my gas tank is getting so pressurized?
  17. I have some weird issues with the passenger side window. From the drivers side "master" switch I cannot get the window to raise... it will lower the window still. From the passenger side switch, the window will lower, but often times will not raise when my passengers use the switch. However, everytime i've been able to raise the window up by reaching across from the drivers side and hitting the passenger side switch. Ontop of all this, the entire system just barely crawls along when I do finally get the switchs to work. So... my question is: Where do I start? Is it possible to disassemble the switches and clean them?
  18. What do you need reliable for... you have your bike to commute in? We have my RX as a template... EJ drivetrain for the win. I'll even help keep your wiring spic and span. Whether you rock it stock, or swap it, its better than the hatch IMHO.
  19. Yes, we'll get that updated to tell you all about it. Just give us some time to get some decent sleep!
  20. RECENT YOUR ECU!!! I have an OBX equal length header on my beast, with 2.25 from there back. I got it on last week, then last weekend drove to Vancouver BC for a car show. On the way up, everytime I had to slow down a lot, the car would nearly die, cause I took it out of gear and wasn't on the go pedal. Dan and I couldn't figure out what was up. At the car show they require you disconnect your battery. The next day after sitting unhooked for awhile we drove it home. No more dying! I think the ECU just needed to relearn and get stuff all sorted out. Atleast thats the story I'm sticking to. Also, real men don't decelerate.
  21. Sooo hott! I'm coming up that way this weekend to Vancouver. Gonna show my wagon at Driven To Perform.
  22. I've heard reports that some people will be donw there and setting up as early as 10am.
  23. Pre-Registration will be closed next monday, 6/25. Save yourself some time and $3 and register now! http://www.westcoastsubarushow.com
  24. Got your o2 sensor in? Mine kinda was doing the cutting out thing without it... Also check fuel filters, and fuel pump wiring.
