  1. I would really like to see some pics of what people have done to keep the AC in and have enough fans for the radiator. I've got the ac lines from the Legacy and they should fit just fine. From searching around the forums most people have opted out on the AC to leave more room for a front mount radiator fan or two. It seems like according to Numbchux's write up that if you ditch the hood latch you can squeeze a fan in there... Again I really want it to look as factory as possible so if anyone has pics of this being done I would appreciate it.
  2. Awesome! Thanks Scott, I really appreciate it.
  3. cool, can;t wait to check them out when they open:slobber:
  4. Will do, with pics! I really want to do this EJ swap right, have it look factory.
  5. I just got an XT6 clutch kit from Baxter's: Hopefully it all fits. I also got an adapter plate and flywheel from SJR. http://www.sjrlift.com/ Just waiting on my harness from Numbchux http://www.numbchuxconversions.com/home.htm who I'm sure is insanely busy with his poor XT
  6. I decided to start a thread on my project car: '92 Subaru Loyale. I want this to be a daily driver for work and be a fun trail rig. So far I've done a 4" lift, added a set of 14" pugs with AT's, skid plate from Rallitek, Warn Industries brush guard, (originally made for the Brat), the 5SPD D/R swap, and XT6 front seats on it as well as adding all of the little interior bits that came on the GL's but not on the Loyale, (proper door handles, front map light, rear cargo light, etc...) Still looking for an LSD to put in as well. I also have all the bits to do the 5-Lug swap from an XT6 except for the front knuckles and axles, but this can wait a bit because... Now I'm gearing up to do an EJ-22 swap. After seeing other EA wagons at the show with the EJ swap done and reading through Numbchux's excellent write up I had to go for it. I recently got a motor from http://www.mttechsuba.com/ Mountain Tech Subaru in Oregon City that has 90,000 miles on it originally from a '92 Legacy wagon. here it is all put back together after I went through it... Motor is in great shape and VERY clean but I decided since its on the stand I might as well go through it and put in new seals, belts, water pump, and gaskets all around so I know its 100%. It will be nice to replace the EA-82 with the EJ and finally not be a gutless slug on the highway and trails.
  7. Air conditioning and a urinal also a plus:banana:
  8. Hey just bring it by my house, I have tons of HD video gear you could use to capture your footage and save you a few bucks. :Flame:I live ten minutes from you, PM me.
  9. I like how the liquor store is on your GPS in the lower left.
  10. The TSL's look pretty good to me, seen a few subies running them and they seemed to do well.
  11. Looks like good times! Man I wish I could have gone.
  12. Here we go: poo tube squeezed it somehow:-\ I'll try to change some settings and get an HD version up on poo tube in the morning. Also I have some POV video from Scoobyclimbs rig to post as well. Stay tuned...
  13. I'm uploading a short clip from Friday up on Youtube. I'll post the link when its finished, *(Taking for ever)...
  14. Went to the U-Pull-it and those wheels are a different pattern than what you have on your EA-81 convertible. Sorry, I thought I could get you that 5th wheel you needed. I'll keep an eye out.
  15. Hey good to meet you at the show. I'll have that wheel for you later on today.
  16. its a 4" AA lift. Thanks! The brush guard was made by Warn Industries for a Subaru Brat back in the day.

  17. I have a Forester steering knuckle which gives me the added length. The 4"SJR lift is sweet. good move man.

  18. More pics: a little stuck on the tight hairpin, really loose big rocks, open diff, equals fun! Coming down the rock field on the power line trail
  19. Scoobyclimbs, TeamCF and myself all decided to run some trails on the way to the show. I'll let Scoobyclimbs give the descriptions of where we went. But for now here are some pics of the fun times: We followed this powerline trail for a while from Washougal up and around over to the Show this is from the top of one of the peaks we climbed up to on the way down we went through more of the power line trail which led us down this rock field and switchbacks. and the view coming down to the fairgrounds and the Gorge. I know Scoobyclimbs and TeamCF will be posting more pics here from our trip.
  20. I haven't seen anything out there other than the old mudrat bumpers for that generation of the Legacy chassis which haven't been made for a few years. Scoobyclimbs used to have one on his '03 outback. If you could find one of these it would fit your Baja just fine. Otherwise it would have to be a custom job to make your own.
