cmiller replied to cmiller's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Cool, would be fun to meet up... Look for me in a black hooded sweatshirt with the logo on it from my site: http://www.mastermindvideo.com/ I will probably have on a neon yellow media vest as well. I will be there around 2:00pm on Friday to set up shop. See you there! -Chris -

Is anyone from the USMB going/ competing in the Oregon Trail Rally April 21st-23rd? I will be there with my camera crew filming. I was able to get media passes for my group and will be following the OLN TV crew. Should be a good turn out this year. I would love to meet up with anyone from the USMB, just look for my lifted Red EA82 Loyale with a yak rack on top and 14" pugs. -Chris

Great weekend rallycrossing in Oregon

I think that is Albie's Outback from Allied Armament. That thing can hold its own. -
I agree with Chux... you do have to work the clutch a bit. I think you should be just fine with 27's to start out. I plan on putting in a EJ22 in mine later on this summer to help with some of the horse power/ hill climbing abilities. I figure a little more umph couldn't hurt with the EJ under the hood.

Yeah, I had all of the old 13" tires and wheels, spare parts, and all of my tools in the back. She was saggin a bit. I put some action pics soon. That pic was taken 10 minutes after I finished the install of the lift.

Old picture, sorry Dirty pics will soon come... '92 Loyale, 4" AA lift, AA skid plate, AA front bumper, MSD coil, K&N, 27" Wildcats, 14" Pug alloys

I have the AA 4" lift with 27" tires on 14" pug alloys on my '92 Loyale, no trimming at all. In fact I added front mud flaps and the rear body trim strakes from a GL-10. See profile... Numbchux is right, get a dual range tranny installed. Big improvement on climbing and decents. The kit is entirely bolt on, did mine in 6 hours with a high lift. Good to get some breaker bars for leverage and a come-a-long just in case. The tranny mounts a bit of work to line up (used the come-a-long and breaker bars) but went in fine. My avatar was taken 10 minutes after installation. No problems at all! Great lift and well built. I did lengthen my pitch stopper one inch to relieve tension on motor mounts. A few ground wires on the body and tranny had to be lengthend. no big deal though. Let me know if you have any questions about install tricks. -Chris

A few of us have gone out to Mary's Peak up here outside of Corvallis, Lots of stuff to find in the coast range. -
I know this would be very time consuming, but... It would be sweet to see more pictures and more detailed shots in the USRM. Also maybe some short video clips to demonstrate proceedures that pics can't do as well. Thanks for putting it together thusfar. It has been very helpful many times! -Chris http://www.mastermindvideo.com

I live just 35 minutes north on I-5 from Eugene. I'll keep an eye out for you guys. -
Anyone from the USMB make it out to the St. Helens mud run on Sunday the first of January? I saw a few Soobies out there other than our group (a white hatch and a black hatch). It was sweet, got some good video of the AA guys pushing their Soobs hard. We should make it a USMB event for all of us to play in the mud during the winter.
