  1. Definatly will fit, that's what I ran on mine before the pugs.
  2. Great job! Video was awsome, good to see it in action! Would love to look under the hood.
  3. Thats a great way to test out the snorkle! Awsome wheelin pics! a round of bananas for ya!
  4. I use my rig right now as the daily driver and moderate trail usage (until the daily driver part can be replaced). I put on my 14" pugs 195/80/R14 Wildcats. Not too bad for driving on all of the time but still decent on the trail and gravel. But as said by others it really depends on where you plan on driving and in what conditions, how much clearence you have in the wheel wells, and what you want to spend. I didn't want to do any fender cutting until this car is replaced with something else for the daily driver. So I got a conservative tire size and aggression for what I use it for. Click on my AVATAR to see a bigger pic of the PUGS and tires.
  5. I need to change out my O2 sensor, its going bad. This is some good info you guys are sharing. Thanks
  6. Thats a sweet find! Definately a good restoration project.
  7. Awsome find, good luck with it! Its always nice to have another soobie!
  8. I just used my Haynes/ Chilton manuals and the diagram from the Subaru dealer, and replaced the seals and bearing and thats it. The Haynes had the best walkthrough for rebuilding the pump.
  9. For about $15 - $25 and a couple of hours of wrenching you can rebuild your PS pump. I bought a new rebuild seal kit from the dealer and a new bearing from McGuire Bearing and now its smooth and doesn't leak believe it or not! I think the most important part to replace is the bearing which also acts a the main seal in the pump. My bearing was shot, rough and loose. Now my steering is like new.
  10. That's one sweet engine swap. Looks real clean and tidy! I bet that brat is really fun to drive!
  11. I would check all connections starting from the battery to the ignition etc... see if something wiggled loose or is broken. Maybe the ignition coil is starting to go? Its best to check everything first before you start buying new parts. saves time and money.
  12. If it runs ok then you should try to sell it. This is a great place to do it!
  13. I had Schwab just do mine, and it drives alot better then before! I would recommned them.
  14. Im jealous you EA 81 guys are getting a sweet deal haveing to wait a bit longer. Totally worth the wait! Its respectable that AA is honoring their agreement and refunding a bit. Thats good business to stand behind your word. I can understand that they are bummed to take a hit like this.
  15. Man a full front skid to cover the pipes and pan would be sooo nice! I just looked at the front of my rig and the oil pan is just sitting out waiting to get munched on. Plus in the snow a full skid will float this thing like a sled! Braaaaaahhhhp!

    lift q's

I went with the AA 4" lift. Got it in a couple of days after ordering it and installed it in 7 hours that saturday. So far so good, parts are well made, welds are good, seems very solid. I am very happy with my purchase.
  17. Makes a good hand warmer!
  18. I did see the swing gate. One of the best designs i have seen for a Subaru! Its clean, looks sweet, and works well. I can't wait to get one on my rig.
