  1. I would be intersted in the EA 82 4" x 3" lift for my '92 Loyale, 5spd, PS. When do you need to know for sure by? I need to gather up the funds. Looks sweet though!
  2. Looks great! Better to save one then part out one.
  3. Has anyone seen or have a strut brace they wold part with to go on a '92 Loyale? The only thing I could find is at Subspeed but out of stock http://www.subspeed.com/LoyStrutBar.htm but I have not recieved any responses to my emails from them. So if there is something out there I would be willing to purchase. Thanks!
  4. Check the ignition coil to see if it is leaking oil. Mine was shot and $90 later everything is ok.
  5. The problem turned out to be a bad ignition coil. It was leaking all over the place after I chaged the plug wires. The oil was almost drained out of it. So $90 later I got everything working. Thanks for all of the help! For those that have the same problem, check the ignition coil and make sure it is not leaking oil. Thanks
  6. Thanks for the tips guys! Is there any write up floating round that I could read? Let me know, Thanks
  7. Does anyone have a good write up of putting a turbo from a '87 GL-10 into a Loyale? They both have EA82 engines so it would seem like it would work. I found a good condition GL-10 at B&R today and was just wondering.... Any comments or input would help. Thanks!
  8. My 92 Loyale is having the same problem right now. I have changed all of the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter. I guess it comes down to checking all of the annoying snesors to see if they are functioning correctly. I'm going to check the MAF and TP sensors, I'll get back to ya on the results. P.S. if anyone has some suggestions please pass them on. Thanks!
  9. Thanks for the responses, I appreciate the help! Any other suggestions on what to check out?
  10. Plugs looked fine, they are only 3months old. The cap and rotor were pretty nasty, corroded and grooved. I replaced those along with new plug wires. Still nothing. So I'm thinking what you are thinking about the MAF or the TPsensor. Do you know the ohms amount that they should register? I'm at a loss. Thanks for your help!
  11. For awhile my 92 Loyale SPFI EA 82 would sputter and cough when I gave it gas around the lower RPM's, then choke and stall itself. Yesterday it did thsi again when I tried to drive it, stalled and not want to start. It seemed to choke itself when I gave it gas to accelerate, but only in lower RPMs going down the freeway it would be ok. - I replaced the plugs, all ok getting good spark. replaced the fuel filter. I'm thinking it may be a clogged fuel injection because of the sputtering or clogged cat? Any suggestions? Anyone had a problem like this with their sooby? Thanks
  12. Hey, just stumbled across a guy who is selling a set of four 15" pugs alloys with Michelin tires on craigslist.com in Portland area for $150. He doesn't have the lug nuts though. Here is a quote from the ad: "Have 4 wheels and tires for peugeot 90 percent tread. They are Michelin 190/65 hr 390 radials." pugs.jpg Here is a link to the ad http://portland.craigslist.org/pts/82829928.html If anyone finds a set of 14" pugs and lugs let me know, need a set for the '92 Loyale.
  13. It's not called a Loyale for nothing! I have had my '92 for 5 years with now almost 180,000 on it. Still chuggin along! Also one of the easiest cars to work on. I swear by these cars. My first was a '83 GL 4x4 bought it at 112,000 and sold it at 215,000. Then a '87 GL 4x4 with 98,000 sold at 167,000. And now this baby! Best snow cars ever too! Just make sure the car has been well maintained with records. Any car could fail if the maintainence has ot been kept up on. Good luck!!!
  14. My '92 Loyale has around 165,000 on is and was pinging under load. I started to use supreme gas and that solved the pinging problem. (expensive though)
  15. Thanks for the help guys! They are going on this weekend.
  16. I'm considering buying a set of Pugeot 14" or 15" rims for my non lifted '92 Loyale. Has anyone had problems with their clutches wearing out faster then normal with these bigger wheels? If so, any remedies? (can't afford a lift just yet). Thanks!
  17. Hey, I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this problem. Mine does it just like yours when the engine is cold. When it warms up all of the way it stops and runs great. I went the route of fuel, air, and electrical. Canged Fuel filters, air filter, plugs, cables, even added some H20 remover from the gas, all nothing. No change, still does it. So I'm at the same place as you. Sorry if my reply wasn't much help. Let me know if you hear of any thing. I'll keep you posted as well. -cmiller '92 Loyale
  18. I am looking for a good cone style open/cold air intake for my EA82 fuel injected '92 Loyale. Everything that I have found so far won't fit the bolt spacing past the sensor on the factory air intake. If anyone has some suggestions on where to get an intake kit that will fit please let me know! Thanks -cmiller
