  1. Welcome! We all long for that brat or hatch in the back of the barn in near perfect shape. Good luck on your journey finding your play toy subie.
  2. Yes you are correct that you are better off getting a new O2 for the front one from subaru. I think that the rear that you replaced with a different one should be fine.
  3. It's very nice but I think it would look better with some rose petal designs in it instead.:-p Just kiddin. How much for those? I like them.
  4. Redline sells them seperate so you don't need to buy the entire kit. The filter and the adapter plater should get you going. I think that should be all you need.
  5. I know that some had the internal reflector in front of the bulb and some did not. Is that how you determine the year?
  6. I believe I have 4 or 5 spare cyclops lamps laying around. Let me know if you want one.
  7. You amature! I bet my old spud gun was bigger. Blaming Ian still works cause a few of us know what you are talking about.
  8. That would be Tom aka tomsbrats. That is a really nice brat indeed. I wish I was driving something oldschool to that meet but I only showed up in my '92 tleg sedan.:-\
  9. You folks at delta do great work! YOu did my ea81t cam at 270/260 grind for higher rpm. That should work great for you carfreak.
  10. Ya Connie! Good to see that you got it running. Let me know if you come across another set of those subaru emblems that go right below the side windows. Ya know the really pretty silver ones that you had gotten NOS. The set I have broke, so I am looking if you ever see more decent ones.
  11. I wouldn't recomend you pick the df series weber up for your brat. The throttle linkage for one will be on the wrong side ect. I know those are most commonly used on old vw's. The one that you need for your brat is the 32/36 dgev or dgv.
  12. I really wouldn't advise it. Your chances of fubar'd piston or something may be pretty good.:-\
  13. Nice Rx. Glad to see you put effort into a very worthy car.
  14. Watch craigslist in your area and you are sure to find a good deal if you are patient. Read and read on here and you will learn lots.
  15. Yep that is correct. I have found that alot of cars use the same idle jets but the mains are usually different along with the air correctors.
  16. You may want to start over with another oil pump. I have one in my pile of subie parts if you need one.
  17. Nice. Do you have any pictures of that and any pics of your engine bay? I am interested to see that vf11 on you car.
  18. HI,

I was wondering where you ordered your jdm ea81 from? I have been looking for one for a while. Is it the type with the intake and exhaust ports switched around from the usdm type ea81 heads? I am very interested to hear how your engine works for you. Thanks-Jerry

  19. Looking really nice Connie! I am glad to see you use good oil as well.
  20. Got a picture of it? It sounds like it may be a sealer of some sort. Try a small area with some paint thinner or engine degreaser.
  21. Nice and dusty! Anyone brake anything good?
