  1. Amazing to think that something that seems insignificant to some could bring pure utter glee to a subie freak like all of us! That is a great find. Glad to see that you cleaned it and applied an armor all or something similar to it. Keep that stuff soaking in and you should be good. I like that black magic stuff personally. Thanks for the picture of that beautiful dash!
  2. Wonder who taught them how to mount tires. I used to do tires and I never rippend one that bad like the bead on the left!
  3. Those look good man. Where did you find a decent set of those? Wanna Roshambo for them?
  4. Man Keith I am really sorry to hear that! Don't really know what option I would go with at that point .:-\ I am here to help if you need it.
  5. And I will show up earlier this time. I am glad we were all able to meet up again. Side note *Watch for Jay wearing a banana suit and driving a brown brat* UPS SUB
  6. Good job! Thanks for the little cell phone video pic you sent me. Glad to hear it is running again.
  7. Most likely the nut is rusted to the bolt and will not go any further. Best to take a cut off wheel or hack saw to the little bolts.
  8. Hey that is a terrific looking brumby you have there! The performance with your heft of wood in the back makes for a good test of power! Well done and I love your engine setup. Cheers:)
  9. Right on! Oh and it seems that I have a looking glass thingy that when you look at it , it will look right back at you..... Oh ya a mirror! I am still trying to figure what else will need to be brought cause I am up to bring anything along. Someone let me know or I will just look at the list and pick something.
  10. You will probly have to look under the seat to look for wires that would supply power for the heating element.
  11. Yes they will fit but may be a little squeeze. The 215 is huge for a little 13" rim!
  12. Very nice! I like the tires you have on there too.
  13. Welcome. All of us like a challenging question to try to figure out regarding subaru's so ask away!Again welcome.
  14. I love that thing! I like the added touch of the glasspack dumping right under the door!
  15. One thing that is nice to carry with you is a tire plug kit and a little portable air pump.
  16. What type of subaru is that on? I have always found the gr2's to be firm yet smooth. I have rx springs up front on my gr2's and it rides rough but I like it that way. May want to check and make sure that your struts aren't binding up.
  17. I would check your fuel filters if you haven't allready done so if they are new. Then I would check the condition of your plug wires and plugs. I know you have done quite a bit of work on your car so you probly don't need to do some of the obvious. Check your belts for small cracks. Check rear diff fluid and trans fluid. Check fuel lines and hoses underneath for obvious stuff, cracked lines ect. Not too much else I don't think. Bring extra fuseable links with you and maybe some regular metric wrenches/sockets.
  18. I am in the process of getting parts to restore an '84 t coupe. Should be a fun little car.
  19. Could be a faulty fuel pump or filter. Pumps are a pretty common problem on those.
  20. You can make alot of seats fit if you use your imagination. I put '04 wrx seats into my '86 hatch back but that is by no means a bolt in. I like the newer '04 and '05 outback seats for comfort and I bet you could bolt those right in.
  21. Thanks man I apreciate that very much. I think I would be too nervous driving your very pretty wagon.
  22. I would definately go but I doubt my hitachi carbed beast would make it up that way to get me there. I will be in for the bbq though.
