  1. I agree.Lightforces are great! Not as many dealers here in the U.S. but if you can find them get them!Very durable and worth the extra money.
  2. Nice!Great job.Good job on the pictures, since many of us while looking at your project brumby are over 15,000 miles away! Looks like it will be loads of fun!
  3. If we are getting something going like a group buy, then count me in as well.
  4. I agree with nipper. If the water that was mixed with the coolant at the time of the last coolant service wasn't purified, then it may be possible some of that may be mineral deposites. Flush.....Fill.....Flush....Fill....Then you should be ok.
  5. GeneralDisorder is right about getting rid of the carb.If you don't understand carbs or don't have anyone to help you do a weber swap, then the spfi is the way to go. Kind of strange for me to say that since I love carbs and all!
  6. I would say get it!Sounds like a great deal.I would really look under at the suspension and in the engine bay at how bad the core support got pushed and frame rail.I know you could fix it,whatever it may be.Also I have started to see a few of that style OB at the yards so I think parts shouldn't be a problem.
  7. Right. So why don't we just get the oil filler parts off that JDM one and the stuff from our USDM model engines and put them in the same car so you could fill it on either side! Such a pain sometimes going around to the other side of the car to top 'er off with some oil.
  8. Ya just as cab said. But there is always chrome spray paint.
  9. Another thing I would check is to make sure your carb is bolted down securely.I suppose that when it warms up and things expand it could develope a little bit of a leak down between the base of the carb and the manifold.
  10. Yep,plenty of people on this board have done it.I know for one Caboobaroo has done it to his rx.I can't think of names of others who have used the wrx intercooler, but I know it is a good add on to do. Another person oh the board that has a very good intercooler setup on his rx is: Drkrazy.Very good add on for a turbo car.
  11. I bought some from RAM for my ea81.I have yet to install them, but they are sooo much stiffer.I am not sure if I will even need the inner stock spring, but I am sure it is wise to install it with them.
  12. I love that car!I noticed that too about the wheels.May just be the same bolt pattern.Quick someone go down and give it the ol' switcheroo and find out!
  13. Gotta love those gen 1 brats!Nice looking one!Good job on grabbin' that one.
  14. Nice hatch!Looks just like mine.I like the way you have it set up with the pugs!
  15. If the piston won't turn in then chances are the piston is a little siezed up.One trick I have used is to smack the back side of the caliper with a rubber mallet or deadblow hammer. That should help to free it up.
  16. Yes Kia all the way!Or a daewoo! They are better off in a scrap heap than on the road. They are a hazard to begin with!
  17. I would first check to make sure your pitch stopper is bolted up solidly. Also your tranny mounts could be the culprit also.(I am assuming that is what you mean by the rear mounts).
  18. Truely looks like a military edition hatch!Special forces of course! Good job on that thing.I love the camo.
  19. Great job! I love the way your honey comb grill looks in that yellow.I love the blue with the yellow contrast on the trim!Superb!
  20. Anyone have cage pictures in a brat or hatch?
