  1. Glad to hear.Roughly how long of a trip is that?I sometimes go through Iowa to go visit my relatives that live in Minnesota.Let me know if you have any need for more parts.
  2. Before pulling it apart check your filters.I think you will find that to be the problem.Don't forget the one by the fuel pump.Good luck.
  3. Good luck on your trip.Feel free to stop here in colorado if ya want.
  4. Very nice job!!!That is really great! That brat is a beaute:)
  5. Thanks Shawn.I apreciate you letting us have that get together over at your place. The food was great.I am still in amazement at how many parts you have in your garage.Glad I got to meet Mick and a few others. Thanks again Mick for the decals and shifter boot.I have an idea to make my own sometime out of multi colored or camo duct tape.
  6. Man that looks like fun!I love the view also.
  7. Thats too bad to see your car all squished up.But then again it is a rally car and that is going to happen.Good luck on your new one.
  8. I like it! I thought that would be the ultimate swap for an rx!
  9. That is one insane car!Would like to see it in action! That big 6cyl motor would rock I bet.
  10. Actually if you have a tan one I would take one.Just let me know what I will owe you for it.Any chance you have some small stickers that say "EA81 POWER" ? I am looking for something small to put on the bottom of the rear wing windows.Maybe an inch high or so.Don't go breaking your back on anything for me I just thought I would see.
  11. Cool thanks for the directions Shawn!I will be there and I will think of some type of food to bring.
  12. I think about that poor thing all the time! Also I will bring the intake so you can look at it. I would be happy to bring food if that is what we are planning on doing.Like Keith said it is really up to you Mick.
  13. You gotta go turbo! That would be even more impressive! That would be something to see!
  14. What made you decide to do that?
  15. While you are out this way is there any parts you are needing?Where are you going to be staying?
  16. Man that would be cool.I would love to meet ya.What are you planning on driving?Maybe us old school people could meet up somewhere.
  17. I agree,I think it looks awsome also.I really like it.
  18. I also want to see the o-ringed head gaskets. Also any chance you have any connections on where to get higher strength/heavy duty valve springs for ea81?I am looking for some. BTW- The car looks like it is a sweet project.
  19. Just make a mark on the compressor wheel where it meets the shaft/nut.So that way you can take it apart and put it back together so it is still balanced.I learned that one the hard way!:-\
  20. If you can make a static test stand and see what you can get out of the turbo.Like set something up where you have an oil can above the oil inlet and let it run down into the turbo and have something be able to make the turbo spin ie; compressed air ect.I would run it for a while and see if you can coax out any little particles.Turbos are pretty strong so I don't think you killed it.Also the rebuild kits for those are pretty easy to come by.Turbo engineering in golden,co has all of that stuff. http://www.turboengineering.com
  21. Hey Russ,if they are in denver just let me know if you want me to go check them out and I will send em to ya.
