  1. Just a minor update of mine. Shawn and I made it to the top of a 14er that we hiked the day prior to the wedding. My wife and Shawns wife to be went along and did very well. The day of the wedding (yesterday) was great with awesome weather and a great setting near a lake with trees all around. Very nice that it was very low key. I wore my subaru shirt with all my sun burns from the hike the day prior.:banana:Way to go Shawn!!!!
  2. The n/a class is becoming alot more popular around here. I am thinking of becoming involved in that when I get an n/a car. I am slowly improving my tleg for playing around.
  3. Contact legacymax. He is on here and he rally x's the n/a class here in colorado.
  4. Tlegs are fun I have a '92. They are great to go canyon carving in and just play around in. Have fun with yours.
  5. Those are a really sharp looking coupe. Never even heard of one before.
  6. Wow that is just nuts! How the heck did you manage that?
  7. Ya that will work no problem. Alot of people run a one piece drive shaft (me included) on their ea81 cars with a 5spd swap in them so you shouldn't have an ounce of trouble.
  8. You guys gotta stop with all this talk of yummy food. Besides you all are too darn far away.
  9. Nice collection! They all look terrific! My favorite has to be the datsun b110.
  10. Spraying cooking oil on the wheels I have heard keeps some of the mud off.
  11. As the other guys stated earlier you are probably good to go with something like the valve clearance of a newer subaru engine. Something like the newer ej25 sohc.
  12. Weird thing is that all the 4wd ea81t coupe digi dash's I have found are dead paper weights. The front wheel drive ones seem to work fine for longer. Don't know if that is a chance thing or if there is a difference between the two? I will take it if you want to sell it or trade?
  13. 2wd and 4wd are the same I have compared them both. Dampening is the same as well.
  14. That explains why your arms are tired right?
  15. Where do you live at? Aurora colorado or aurora Il?
  16. Better than I ever expected! Terrific Job Mick!
  17. We love ya Shawn (not in a gay way). I think a violation is in order.
  18. Making the heads and intake flow better on the n/a sohc ej25 is a good jump in the right direction. Along with some more agressive cams from our friends in washington "Delta Cam". I just got done porting a set of ej25sohc heads for a local guys rally car. We went with some good torque cams from delta and I very sure we will be sitting close to the 200hp mark. Let me know if you want a set of ej25 heads ported. They look sweet when they are done.
  19. The justy engine is pretty simple but it has a couple areas that will need some attention to adressed properly when you are rebuilding it..... The first is the oil pump. It will need to be checked out when you are resealing it to make sure it is in proper working order. This is kind of a weak link on the justy engine. Second is the chain guide for the counter balance shaft. Usually you just need to inspect that along with the chain and make sure it looks strong with no weak points. Check out this website: http://subarujusty.proboards.com/index.cgi I have learned alot on there. I have a justy that I will be rebuilding its engine this fall.
  20. Got any pictures of the wheels? Sounds interesting.
