I might be interested if I dont buy the new wheels!~
-
you must be clownin, MTs are way better than ATs, the ats clog up faster, the mts will dig through.. ice is a different story though. I decided im not going to lift it, well if i do it will just be a 2" strut lift i am getting these maybe: http://seattle.craigslist.org/pts/92518197.html the tires are kind of crap, but oh well. the wheels look nice

okay for the 4" lift I am putting in forester coils and struts. the Khumo mt's are 27x85 r14" , i have 15" rims, the smallest size for a 15 is 235/75 :-/ otherwise I would buy those. I guess I will probably go for an AT. I expect to lose 1mpg or so, but also, the speedo/odo will be off, messing up my "mileage" after the tires. this is my daily driver (I have another wheeling rig)> I just want some good tires to go messing around in the snow in the mountains here and for skiing. I don't want bias ply, because they don't last very long. I need some radials. I am not used to the factors in dealing with these small car tires (I have always had lifted trucks with 33"s and what not) so I am not sure exactly what to expect and do you know where the downloadable rebate is?? if you can find it I might get those tires. Thanks

okay.. I am going to lift my obs 4".. I need some tires. I don't want my gas mileage to go down much though, and on the other hand, I still want to be able to plow through the snow this winter . and I don't want to do any cutting, unless its not visible (( i dont know how I could do that)).. ive been searching the forums, and it looks like I could fit 215/75 r15s. ... can I go bigger? is this going to mess up my gas mileage? I am trying not to spend too much money too.. I don't want to pay $100 a tire :-/. I like the khumo venture mt's, but they only come in 235 75 r15 as the smallest for my rims.. these are probably overkill,, and I dont like walmart but.. these tires look pretty decent -75$ these are cheap -55$ any ideas? I would like some mild MT's if theyre not too expensive.. thanks

this saturday I am going up with Core4x4 to walker valley, probably taking my bronco2 or riding in my friends jeep. If you guys can keep up with our heeps you should join us. (we are all 32" tires and up with lockers). I know some of you guys have some pretty intense rigs, I want to see them in action!

Seattle Area Shops or Mechanics?
n16ht5 replied to Dante's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I called them today for a price quote on my 98 2.2l OBS to get the timing belt done, water pump, oil pump seals, and all the seals done. they said about $750. is this reasonable? I was considering doing it myself, but since all the seals, and timing belt are so important, I kind of wanted a good shop to do it so that it doesnt get done wrong! -
I have this problem too, and I looked at the clutch pedal.. there is a little sensor thing that sticks out like a button and when I let the clutch go, the little sensor goes through a hole where it looks like it shouldn't? I am going to try to tape it when Im not sick and see. ill let you guys know. and from my experience, if the ECU was bad, there would be a lot of other problems going on, no tjust the cruise control. try looking at your pedals, there are little sensor prod things above the pedals, check to see what yours are doing as you push the pedals and let them back in

how do i get rid of my speed limiter?!?! how can i unplug the ecu?? ??!?! the 03 civic ex redlines in 5th at around 7k at 140 heheh my bronco2 hits the governer at 105. the buick waggy .. well the speedo goes to 85, then theres the odoemeter way below, the needle is way bellow the odometer bouncing haha.. 3.8l jea! im geussing 125-135? the front was getting a little out of control. the lifted f250 with the 460cu, 115-120? hahahah... speedo only went to 85. the 93 ranger 2.3l - ran out of gusto at 95. but you never heard any of this -
I think youre nuts if you want an auto for snow.. when they shift down for you automatically when you dont want them to you tend to go sideways not on your command... all 4 cars at our house are 5 and 6 speeds. . sticks are way safer in the snow I think. especiially doing the drop clutch unstuck trick with the open diffs if you have one tire spiinning, bring the rpms up and drop that clutch , it will turn all the tires for a second, sometimes enough to get you out. just dont break those twig axles or listen to smashing pumpkins
