Hi This is Jerry, if you look on WCSS 11 first pics by Edrach under Ratty2Austin pics page 4 you will see my 80 hatchbrat with the 2.2 and the holley 4 barrel carb. As far as less power hell no i have moer power i can feed it more gas and i got the same gas mileage as my wifes baja got. As for relibaly i don't have a CHECK ENGINE light, this is a fun car to drive. As far as non stock parts the only thing i have is the ej disty everything i can get at any auto parts store just like any subie part. Thanks Jerry

Hi Brian This is Jerry, the EA81 flywheel is 90 thousands thicker than the EA82. Also the EA81 flywheel has smaller bolts. Thanks Jerry

Hi This is Jerry, if you want to space your wheel out then you need to use a wheel spacer. They come in many different sizes. Go to a tire shop they should have them in stock or can get them in a day or two. Thanks Jerry

Hi This is Jerry, yes you are missing something the gear is in a different spot and the gears are different. You need to redrill the hole in the EA81 gear to match up where it was on the EA81 disty or it will eat up the gear on the cam. Thanks Jerry

Hi This is Jerry, done that on my 80 hatchbrat it was to much work to install. Now i have a 2.2 impreza engine in it alot simpler to install and more power. There are 2 more things you need to install on your brat #1 the 5 speed dual range tranny and the other is rear disc brakes after that have fun driving your brat. Thanks Jerry
