On my my way home from Mexico I found this guy on the side of the road... So i drove it back it back to Canada! let the fun begin. the good: almost everthing is there, jump sets and everything. No real body damage and no bad body rust from what I can tell. runs! Shifts pretty good(4spd) the bad: Torn cv’s lots of caked oil, Mexican wiring oil sender dosnt work driver side strut top is completely torn(found this once I got it home) leakying front main seal bad rad fan Truck bed leaks into cabin(when it rains) Plan: since I’ve been building my crazy off road poptop gl wagon, I thought it’d make this more of a daily driver. bushings upgrades 2 inch lift 215/75/15 Baja bfg on yota drilled 6 lug. camber/caster plates longer ish dual rate suspension Electric swap?!?!

I have a 1982 Subaru gl and I am just wondering what years are compatible for basically the whole driver side. Bumper, Fender, both doors and rear quarter panel. thanks for the help gents.

So a friend sent me the link to a CL ad and I had a buddy pick it up for me while I was across country. I guess I will find out what I bought when I get home in a few weeks. All I know is the Seller claims it needs ALOT of work. Here are the CL ad photos for now.

Hi friends, I have had this brat for a few years. Never really knew anything about mechanics before, and I have been learning! I can't find a wheel hub anywhere for my brat. I have been searching to figure out what other subaru vehicles have universal parts with my 82 brat without any luck. The gear on the front wheel hub are totally stripped. I can't find a replacement part anywhere! nothing online no auto parts stores stock it and subaru was not helpful at all. Recently an old brat got into a junk yard but the hubs were pulled before I could get out there! I'm at a total loss. Does anyone know if there are other models/years of subaru that would have a compatible hub? Thanks! -
So I've finally gotten around to post my ride. Ive had my brat for about a year now and i picked it up for $1200. This was the day i brought it home. fenders were rusted and the body was a little rough, but she runs good and i can modify, beat up, and generally have fun with this and not worry. The idea Ive had was to make it look like the warthog from the game Halo. I'm still working on uploading more photos so hopefully this should be photo rich by the end of the night!
