Hi, I’m extremely new to “modifying” any type of road vehicle. I have experience with atv’s and dirt bikes. When I bought my Impreza last Saturday I had originally thought it would be very easy to find aftermarket parts that actually were worth spending money on to replace or add on to my vehicle. So basically my question is does anyone have any recommendations/ links as to what I am able/should put inside my Impreza? I appreciate any and all feedback even if there’s nothing I can do.

Hello all, new to the forum here. I have recently purchased a 2000 Forester and I am looking for advice on good lift/tire combinations. I really like the look of a lifted forester, but would like somewhere to start. I have looked on other postings but all of the images are no longer available. Any advice would be great! Thanks!

Some time ago i started a 4in lift kit from Anderson, but also wanted to Improve my shocks and struts. I followed Loyale 07's suggestions for struts and springs. however the front springs i got the new Subaru Struts for the front and the 94 Ford Tempo springs as suggested. however the oiriginal springs have 8 1/2 in tall and the Ford Springs are 15 inches tall. i see no way to compress them enough to get them the Subaru struts. I did compare them to the NAPA Ford Tempo springs and they are the same. Any suggestions of what to do next to make these work? Regarding the rear ones they will make my car 2 in higher than stock. will the 4in lift kit and this strut change (Honda Accura springs, and Toyota Forerunner Struts/shocks) make my GL like a 6in lift in the rear?

Long time ago (as you can see the Background Story ~► Here in a Short thread), I wanted to do a Li'l Front Lift of 2" to level the front of my "BumbleBeast" because with my Suspension Mods (Which can be seen ~► Here) it gained two inches of lift in the Rear... Back then I Couldn't buy the 2" Lifting kit because Paypal Didn't Had Honduras in their List (Four Years Ago) But Now, that story is about tho Change... I Really Need to Lift Two inches (2") the Front to Level my "BumbleBeast", but Without Loosing the Safety and proper Camber / Caster, also I Want to Keep the Axles' angle the more Straight Possible, So, I Believe that a Pair of 2" Blocks at 15º for the Front Struts, plus Dropping the Engine Crossmember 1" will do that, isn't it? I am Kindly Asking your Advice, Because I Really Need to do a 2" Front Lift but as Cheaper and Easier as it could be, without Sacrificing the Subie's Safety + Alignment. Please, Help me... Any Advice will be very Welcome! Kind Regards. ► Edited to add the Tags for the New USMB Search System.

Hey everyone I know you can find small simple ways all over these forums for adding/releasing power from ea82 turbo engines, but what I want to do is compile all the mods for improving the efficiency/power output from mostly stock ea82t's My '87 GL (push-button 4wd 5 speed) EA82T modifications/improvements -'03 STI Top Mount Intercooler -2.5" straight piped all the way back off turbo (stock up-pipe)(stock turbo) -opened air box (noticeable improvement) Any other mods that I can do/will do, I'll update my post and tell everyone how it works out and performs And please don't say to EJ it... heard that enough already haha if I didn't want to keep my EA82T I wouldn't be posting a forum about improving it (: Thanks for any input!!

I just joined the Subaru club! Scored a sweet deal on a 1997 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT with 84k miles on it. The car is practically perfect on maintenance, everything that could be replaced was with the best parts on the market. What little upgrades could I do to this car? I've read that adding a 2 1/4 inch thrush muffler would make it sound a lot better, is this true? Thanks!
