Hi there, I've got a stereo/remote Central locking install under way and I need some help! Seem to have the actuators positioned happily and I can figure most of it out, but I need to connect the central locking kit to the turn signals/indicators. There are two wires from the kit that are meant to connect for this, I assume one for each side, but I don't know where it's best to attach them or how to find the right wires. Anyone done a remote Central locking install who can help me out? I can take a picture of the indicator wires running from the switch down the steering column if that helps... If this goes well I might sneakily add power windows while everything's apart! Thanks, Steve

A couple of days ago, the turn signals on my 2003 Baja starting blinking faster when I accelerated, and slowing down when I took my foot off the gas pedal. I also noticed a faint high-pitched whine coming from somewhere in the car when it was doing this, but couldn't isolate it. I checked all of the bulbs, and none were burned out, so I took apart the head- and tail-light assemblies and checked everything with an ohmmeter for high-resistance to ground. All looked good, and there was no visible corrosion or abraded wires. I also checked the connections to the relay under the dash and followed the wiring harnesses as far as I could. After I got everything back together, the problem went away for a day or two, but now it's back, and I'm looking for ideas on anything else I can try before biting the bullet and taking it in to the shop. All suggestions gratefully accepted!

so ive been chasing my tail on this brat ive been working on. it has no turn signals, high beams, or hazards. intermittently the hazards will flash out of nowhere, even with the ignition off, and the key out of the ignition. the indicator for the high beams lights up on the dash, but the headlights don't work, the low beams do however, I can also hear a relay click when I turn on the switch for the high beams. there are no turn signals at all. there is a silver either relay or flasher on the drivers side behind the dash that gets extremely hot, does not click or anything. and it looks like theres a spot for another, but there is nothing plugged into it. also, I am having a bear of a time finding a Cyclops switch. PLEASE HELP!!!!
