  1. Hey everyone, new here, just bought this awesome 1990 Loyale, want to make it into an off-roading machine, but it has a spark issue, few details on the car: 1990 Loyale manufactured 6/89, non auto seatbelt, air conditioned, manual tranny, 4WD, SPFI. It's got 3 main wires coming out of the fender/main harness, colors white with yellow, black with white, and solid yellow, then it does this confusing mess with the igniter, there's a picture I attached, I think the wires have been messed with and need help putting it back how it should go, and then at the end I have a solid blue, solid yellow, and 2 black with white wires that need to go to the ignition coil. Thank you for any help you are able to provide.
  2. I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for my 89' GL so I can install the radio myself instead of paying a 50$ fee just to get it put in. I'm simultaneously trying to learn more about my car as it is my first car and I wanna be able to work on it myself rather than relying on body shops, mechanics, etc. etc.. If anyone could help me out it'd be much appreciated since I'm basically a new born in terms of being in the car scene.
  3. hello all, I'm new to the forum... I'm swapping a 96 ej25 motor and TZ102Z2ABA transmission into my 99 LGT (ej25 motor, TZ1A2ZJEAA transmission) The research I've done shows the 4.444 ratio on both transmission to rear ends. (please correct me if you have differing info) Everything lines up the same except the plugs from the car to the 102z2aba transmission are different. The plugs have the same number of pins but are different in shape. The wiring from the old trans to the new are different colors. I can't find a wiring diagram or info from someone that has done this swap before and am not sure where to go from here...
  4. I must be blind or stupid, but I can't find my fuel pump relay. Nor can I find the location listed anywhere on here or the Internet. So, I turn to my fellow Subaruians, anyone know where the bastard's hiding? I need to replace him. Also, the 85/86 XT's are unique in their wiring setups, at least according to my craptastic Chilton manual. And even more-so because it's a bloody turbo. So, anyone have any ideas? Every location has been checked aside from putting the car on a lift and scouring the underside. Also, it specifies the relay sits between the EGR valve and the fuel pump in the wiring harness. This may or may not help depending on if anyone's torn down a harness or not. Twitch
