First off Good Evening/Morning all,
Here is my story. I recently bought a 1988 SFI 4WD GL from a buddy of mine that he used it as his get-around car. I paid him $500 for he old girl with 121,000 mile on the odometer. As you would expect it runs like a champ but I want more. Looking on Youtube and reading about some of the builds you all have done I have coincided doing a motor swap. The problems with the swaps for me is funding capital and down time. As kind of a kick in the paints a customer of mine GAVE me a 1989 GL-10 that has been in a small garage for 15 years or so. This one is not as clean and has a bent front bumper. I have not tried starting it yet so the condition of the motor is unknown. So my question to you is do I :
1-Mut the two together to make one extra nice classic?
2-Build one as a track car and leave one stock?
3-Scarp and sale them both and buy a modern suparu?
